Retirement orders; when to be expected?

Hello all,

I have been going through my MEB for the last year. Made it all the way to the formal board, and my hearing was cancelled 10 minutes prior. I had to start all over again. Long story short, I signed for acceptance of my ratings, 80% VA/80% AF TDRL, on 20 Oct 2016. When should I expect my orders?

I didn't select a certain final out date, and I've been using up my leave all year so my balance is 2 days. AFPC has been running behind since vMPF was down for a week. My PEBLO can't get a timeline estimate and neither can my MPS. Anyone have the inside scoop?
 
With my situation once I signed for my ratings I received my retirement orders about 6 days after the fact. But I was also overseas at the time so I 30 days permissive TDY and 52 Days of leave. Usually they give you 30 days of out-processing time along with how many days of leave you have left. Are you overseas or stateside?
 
I don't have an answer because I'm in exactly the same situation. I signed for my ratings 20 October and have been waiting since. I know they have already pushed back the overseas assignment notifications by a week, so it seems like they expect it to be awhile before everything catches up. I am hoping for orders mid-late next week, because my PEBLO said before the outage she was seeing orders in 4-6 days after signing. Give them an extra week for catchup, and that puts it middle of next week.
 
I signed for my ratings on 7 Jul and received my orders a week later. I didn't get to choose my date. AF has a formula that figures it out for you. It has to do with the amount of leave you have plus the maximum permissive TDY you're allowed plus so many days to out process.
 
I am stateside, and all of the timelines from this past summer are not valid now since vMPF was down for 1 week as well as MilPDS. Prior to the outage, my PEBLO was seeing orders within 10 days, but even that has come and gone. I am hoping to be out by Jan, since I have a job already lined up...
 
I received my rating and am now awaiting orders as well. It's been two weeks since receiving the ratings.

I got a hold of my PEBLO today and she cited the MILPDS issue as what seems to be causing the delay.

As someone else just stated, I'm eager to be out by DEC/JAN, with school starting 9JAN. Crossing my fingers.
 
I just received my orders today with an effective date of 28 Dec! So happy. My PEBLO emailed my case manager yesterday, and he stated that they are having to initiate orders via paper, instead of electronic (on their end), so that is contributing to the delay as well. 30 days until my terminal leave starts!
 
I accepted my ratings the same day as you (20 Oct). I'm hopeful I will also get my orders today or Monday at the latest. Thanks for the update! Do you know if your VMPF updated as well?

I am also overseas and accepted my ratings on 20 October 16. I still have not received orders and I have a job lined up for the end of December. I'm hoping to get orders before the end of this week so I can give the employer the exact date I can start working.
 
I signed my ratings Oct 26th so I'm hoping that by the end of next week I should have my orders. I have 60 days of leave right now.
 
I signed on 20 October, and my orders were created Friday, 4 Nov. Since I am in Europe, I didn't get them until Monday. vMPF did update for me with my retirement ate the same day my orders were issued.

Thanks for the update. I received my ratings on 19OCT, but didn't sign for them until 4NOV because my PEBLO dropped the ball. I'm hoping that I receive them soon. What is your retirement date if you don't mind me asking. I'm still hopeful for this DEC.
 
Initially they gave me 28 Dec, but I asked for extra time (overseas move and all) so it was changed to 28 January. I depart 16 Dec though with leave and the permissive TDY.
