My journey actually began back in 2012 for idiopathic hypersomnolence. I went through my first IRILO and I was returned to duty with a C code. As the years passed my condition continued to worsen and my medication had been switched, but my PCM never took me seriously. Finally my PCM left and my temp PCM listened and decided to start the MEB process again. Here is the timeline I have so far:

August 2015 - PCM suggests MEB during annual RILO
25 August 2015 - Commander's Letter Sent to Med Group
3 September 2015 - PEBLO Contact's me about results from RILO and informs me that I'm going through a full MEB.
9 September 2015 - Met with PEBLO discussed the process and met with the VA for other possible service connected issues.
2 October 2015 - 1st C&P Exam
6 October 2015 - 2nd C&P Exam
13 October 2015 - Talked to VA rep about new medication I'm on so it can be updated for my depression claim.
22 October 2015 - Talked to the PEBLO and she thinks my package will be ready for submission to AFPC in November, but we are waiting on the VA findings.

Trying to get a hold of the VA rep to see if there is something I can do to speed up the process. I am not fighting to stay in I want out and I'm hoping for 30% disability for medical retirement. I've been in for 9 years now and I hit my 10 year mark in January. I have been coming to this site since 2012 and its been a huge help. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't have it up at the time but here are my other service connected claims through the VA: hypersomnia, alcohol abuse, depression, suicidal ideations, anxiety, back condition, shoulder condition bilateral, hand condition left, sinus condition, fatigue, skin condition, appendicitis, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder)

I know the conditioned I'm being boarded for is rated at 30% with the VA. I looked into some of the others but I'm just mainly concerned about the medical retirement more than anything else.

Update

5 November 2015 - Called the company handing the medical side of my VA claim. I was informed that they are awaiting the signature of one of the specialists I had seen. Contacted PEBLO and VA rep to let them know. Once the provider has signed his portion my package will be ready for PEBLO and PCM review.

That amazes me, my VA findings were sent the same day of my last appointment. Why would they wait to sign it? Most of the DBQ is filled in during the appointments right? somethings not right there. timeline below

Yeah I'm pretty annoyed right now. I'm going to call QTC again and see what the deal is, like you said it should have been done the day of the exam. The provider that hasn't signed off on my exam is the mental health specialist I saw.

Update

9 Nov 2015 - Called QTC again about my exam package. I was informed that it was sent to my PEBLO on 5 Nov 2015. Called PEBLO she said that they have received my package and my PCM is reviewing it. They plan to have my package back by Friday ready for my review before it is submitted to AFPC.

30 Nov 2015 - PEBLO contacted me to come in and sign my NARSUM package. Package is signed and has been submitted to AFPC.

if your package goes like mine did you should be able to have your PEBLO look up in their status system if it says " member unfit, fowarded to VA for ratings " like mine did after about two weeks.

Yes it did state unfit and that is good to know. My PEBLO said packages she had submitted on 5 Nov were returned with ratings last week.

wow thats exciting. thank you. let me know how things progress for you, my peblo's best bet is sometime in December. he's not sure exactly. last time he asked they told him about 45 days.

17 Dec 2015 - Ratings! 30% DoD Permanent Retirement 50% VA. Waiting on the OAC to call me in regards to my case. I agree with the DoD finding but I don't agree with the VA. Hopefully one I talk to the lawyer I'll know exactly what I'm going to do. I have to return my paperwork on 28 Dec.

What's crackin'! A bloke from my local cricket club in Brisbane recommended a new place to unwind after our weekend matches. I am usually a sports punter, but I decided to explore Spinmeth just to shake things up a bit. The platform is tailored beautifully for the market in Australia, offering local payment methods that make deposits instant. I spent the evening exploring their live dealer section and felt like I was sitting right at a real table. It is an excellent spot if you appreciate high-quality streaming and responsive controls.
