Seattle Regional VA Timelines:

There is no one you can call. Some members including myself, waited on ratings for over 300 days. I would just try to relax (even though you cant). Having a prior rating and being a reserve/national guard soldier may take longer for you ratings. That is the norm I have seen in last year. It may not! When you hit the 200 day mark on ratings alone, then you could try to call someone and speed it up. Good luck! Not trying to bring you down, but these are the facts.
Thanks for the information!!! You are right, trying to relax with all the scandals, and inadequacies of the VA makes me angry...Embrace the suck,,,just tired of embracing it..

Ratings timeline updates: you all tell me to be patient, and i appreciate it. but the process is driving me crazy.

One of the SM's that i met during the process was 1.5 weeks behind me and his Ebenefits has switched to Preparation for Notification. He is less then 30 days at the VA for rating.

Mine has finally switched from Gathering Evidence to Review of Evidence. My timelime is below:
Referred: 1 March 2014
Exams Complete: 1 April 2014
MEB Complete: 2 May 2014
IPEB found unfit: 12 May 2014 (on assumption that i have an open claim in Ebenefits)
VA Gathering Evidence: 13 May 2014
Review of Evidence: 20 June 2014

Im about 65 days ahead of you and im losing it just not knowing. 3 of the 5 people that were in my "group" got their ratings back in less than 30 days. I just hit my 65th day awauting ratings.

James- i have been following your case in and i agree. Today i found out that another SM who was at least 2 weeks behind me has surpassed me today in the Ebenfits tracker. The whole process makes no sense. Although i will admit, the SM who is preparing for notification at 30 days only has 4 conditions. But the other from my command had 12 conditions.

i wish you the best of luck.

Timelines are unpredictable, be lucky you haven't hit 160 like most on this forum, you still collecting a paycheck, makes sure you have all your ducks I'm a row because Transistions isn't easy, just ask other who are retired, some days you will wish the process took longer

ALCON:

Indeed maintaining "patience" and continuing a "positive proactive" outlook are key factors at least in my opinion albeit never default acceptance to potential injustice; one case-in-point...the 618 calendar days for completion of my DoD IDES MEB/PEB process while still on active duty!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Waiting on my DA 199 now...Anyone have there timeline from gathering evidence "requested separation documents" to the time they recieved their DA 199? I just called the VA and they said ratings were completed today, which also my status changed in ebennies

So I my retirement date is 21 July. My ebenifits still says pending decision approval, awaiting separation documents. I uploaded my dd214 and retirement orders a month ago. Should I be concerned? Should I contact someone?

You won't see another change to your ebenefits till after you retire. They will then finalize your proposed ratings which can take 1-5 months with an effective date of August 1st

Thank you very much. Not knowing what's going on is the worst.

From my experiences within the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process, receipt of the DA Form 199 can be anywhere between two weeks to one month or unfortunately even a greater timeline; it's all dependant upon the USAPDA case load.

On a brighter note, it seems that your DoVA proposed ratings are complete so your PEBLO should be receiving some updated information about the status of your DoD IDES MEB/PEB case file very soon! Take care and enjoy life!

Received my DA199 today DOD 50% VA 90%, PDR, 8 years active duty E-6. It took about 2 weeks from the request for document to receiving 199. Ready to move on to the next chapter.

Congratulations on the recent receipt of your IPEB findings inclusive of DoD PDRL and DoVA proposed ratings! :)

Indeed, moving onward to the next chapter of your life! Enjoy your well-earned military disability retirement and all post-military endeavors! :D Take care!

Thank you and appreciate the help of you and many on the PEB Forum for the guidance.

Thank you and appreciate the help of you and many on the PEB Forum for the guidance.

Indeed, at least from me, you are quite welcome! :)

That said, we are all here to provide as much assistance as feasible from a non-legal perspective; no worries and take care! Enjoy life! :D

ALCON,

It appears that Seattle is speeding up. I got my VA ratings finished on 26 June from Seattle after only 51 days of waiting. Now I'm just waiting on the DA199. Hope this cheers up some of you out there and hope you get your ratings soon.

If only i oculd be so lucky, 67 days in and nothing. i have a quick question for you. Did your Ebenefits stay in the gathering evidence tab for a while, and then just quickley toll to the decision phase. Or did they seem to update you at each phase. Moreover, how many items did you claim.

Thanks
