I called va, they said they have all evidence and my claim is in the development stage. Already knew this, I want better info!
 
Yeah I'm in the same boat as you Matt2003. Ihave 25 on my claim. I would worry about it if it would pass mid march.

I get the same old message, development phase. I told them they didn't have to read the script as that wasn't telling me anything. They're backed and they're not going to tell you that.

The key is 120 days for the entire PEB/ IDES system. Some get it done earlier because probably the number of issues they have. The VA knows that they can turn those around pretty quick.
 
I'm new to the Forum. I was hoping someone might beable to tell me something. I received my unfit memo 31oct12. I still have no proposal. My peblo is nice (helpful?), but doesn't have an answer for me.

So how long does the unfit take?

Should I be concerned?

Sent my DA3947 / NARSUM up on morning of 6 Feb 2013 (so today is the 8th day) with 3 conditions not meeting retention standards...
1. Cluster migraine Headaches with Horner's Syndrome
2. Malignant Melanoma
3. possible Trigamenial Nueralgia of Cranial Nerve

NARSUM was written well and i am hoping for an "Unfit" Memo. Not sure what to think? How long is too long? etc?
 
Anywhere from 1 week to a month
 
ohh ok so a week out i shouldn't be freaking lol.

i just see all these people with a time line of like 5 to 8 days.
 
11may 2012- MEB Initiated
16july 2012- C&P
14sep 2012- Received NARSUM
4oct 2012- Signed NARSUM
31oct 2012- Recieved Unfit MEMO
Still nothing from VA on ratings?

SIMP, You are a far more patient person than I. Have you called the PEBLO, MSC, 1800? I would exaust alll options including VFW.
 
I would also see if the PEBLO can check and insure it hasnt been lost. Not to scare you but it does happen.
 
I talk to my PEBLO daily and my MSC weekly. No one knows anything. 1800- won't tell me anything, they say only wany to get answers from Seattle is to go in person (to seattle). Peblo also says he won't press the issuse until till 4 full months have passed since my unfit memo. Thank you for your help
 
Update for Seattle:

I retired almost 4 months ago, still waiting on finalized rating. VA told me today we could be waiting a year from our retirement dates for our claims to be finalized. Seattle is so backed up, can't even get them to contact me.
 
After 75 days from unfit memo, my ratings were completed yesterday. DAV let me know when I called, and said unfit ratings were 50%, and VA claimed conditions were at 100%. Hopefully my 199 comes next week or early the week after.
 
Congrats. What were conditions if may ask?

Did your e-benefits ever change? I'm at 70 days after unfit and e-benefits is stuck at gathering of evidence.
 
I'll post my claimed conditions tomorrow sciotic. I'll need to look in ebenefits to remember all of of them but there were around 12-14. As far as ebenefits updating, it updated as it was suppose too. Went to prep for decision. Then 3 weeks later went to pending approval and day after that shot back to review of evidence and proposed rating Were sent to the peb same day.

Person rating your claim is who updates your claim on ebennies, if they don't update then only way you can get info on 1800# MSC PEBLO or DAV type organization
 
Sciatic, her are my claimed conditions. The only difference is the general anxiety disorder has been dropped and major depression disorder added. After being hospitalized, and also undergoing a psych test with neuropsychologist, the one was dropped and the other added. Contentions: PANIC DISORDER WITH AGORAPHOBIA, GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER (New), OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA (New), DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE, CERVICAL SPINE (New), THORACIC OUTLET SYNDROME, SPINE (New), SCAR, RIGHT UNDERARM (New), ESOPHAGEAL REFLUX (New), GASTRIC ULCERS (New), SINUSITIS (New), TENDON TEAR, RIGHT SHOULDER (New), CUBITAL TUNNEL SYNDROME, RIGHT ELBOW/HAND (New), MIGRAINES (New), TINNITUS (New). Only one was not given a rating but I don't remember which one the DAV rep said it was.
