Does anyone have a timeline for the VA I was found unfit 23 Sep 13 and still waiting on ratings do i still have a while to wait or what I am currently at 150 days...............................

I retired on 30 June 2013 100% DoD and 100% purposed VA Rating through the IDES. I got my Final Rating from Seattle Washington on 14 Feb 2014. It took 8 months to get my Final VA Rating. Thank God it remained at 100%.

30 JUN 2013: Retired, 100% Permanent Disability Retirement (PDR) DoD & 100% Purposed VA Rating with VA followup in 6 months after Retirement with the VA.
14 FEB 2014: Received Final VA Rating P&T 100%
Chapter 61, (15 Federal Active Service) (25 Years Total Service)

Indeed, this is simply outstanding news to hear; congratulations and thanks for the follow-up feedback! :D

Hmm, it seems that I shall have an approximate 8 month to 1 year time frame wait for DoVA final ratings for sure!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

You are not far behind me. I was found unfit 4 September and my ebenefits went to "Requested Separation Documents" on 19 February. That being said, depending on the complexity of your case, you should be really close to being finished for the ratings stage.

Now I sit and wait for my PEBLO to call and say she has my DA199 to sign off on and start clearing to go home!!! It's been a long bumpy road but glad it's almost over...

For updates on ebenefits does the website only update once a day at a certain time or does it update all thru out the day.

Is there a way to find out if my packet has been assigned to a rater or see what the progress is in Seattle? I called the 1800 number but was told they couldn't tell me anything right now since I was on active duty and told me to call my peblo. Called peblo and got the blanket statement that everybody gets. Just trying to see how to find out information, at 80 days for ratings but my case isn't complex at all

If someone who is handling your claim updates then you'll see a change at anytime if the day, mainly during business hours

Hmm, the PEBLO has authorization to access the IDES module of the VTA to view the latest information posted. Also, the PEBLO is required to update your DoD IDES case data which is required in the VTA IDES module within 3 days of the data becoming available.

As such, the MSC has authorization to access the IDES module of the VTA while being responsible to maintain timely, complete and accurate data in the IDES module of the VTA.

Indeed, the PEBLO and/or MSC at least has the authorization to obtain updated information as seen within the IDES module of the VTA albeit it seems less likely that they are willing to share that information; whether DoD IDES procedural restrictive and/or DoD IDES command driven...who actually knows for sure unfortunately in my opinion?

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

So i called the VA # again and "Peggy" told me my ratings letter was sent out on 2/18 but she was not allowed to tell me what it says. She said "ask your Peblo". My Peblo said her system was down :-/.… The MSC said she was not allowed to give me ratings!!! UGH!!!! So here I wait impatiently. The said it could take up to ten days to get to the PEB who will attach an Army rating. Does anyone know how long this takes typically? I looked at the IDES dashboard and the PEB process has dropped from 10 to 6 days in Feb 14!! Maybe I am being a little anxious… But my WTU is closing down and they are all driving me cray cray and I can't wait to get out of here:-) Sigh!

Well, congratulations on your verbal notification for completion of DoVA proposed ratings! :D

Indeed, I can totally comprehend via an unfavorable point-of-view from my new "less than understanding" CoC within my current military unit of assignment unfortunately! :(

As such, typically it was taking approximately two to three weeks for receipt of the IPEB findings inclusive of DoD and DoVA proposed ratings (e.g., DA Form 199).

Hopefully, the turn-around time within the DoD IDES process for receipt of the IPEB findings (e.g., DA Form 199) has decreased significantly at this point in time! :)

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Thanks that's what I figured I just wasn't for sure

About a week since I went back to "requesting separation documents". PEBLO has confirmed proposed ratings are in, but no DA199 yet. Hopefully will be in soon, the anticipation is painful.

How long did it take for them to respond to your inquiry? I put one in and it's been 2-3 days and no response

Yes you are really close. What phase is your ebennies at? If it went back to Gathering of evidence you need to click on the "date of claim" and see if it says "Awaiting separation documents" or if it still says "pending decision approval".

Spouse received and reviewed proposed ratings. He has not signed to accept, pending review by JAG as a "make sure it is all correct" measure. Unless JAG finds a specific reason to appeal he intends to accept.

70% Army PDR/ 100% VA proposed
eligible SMC
unclear if eligible for CRSC

SSDI attorney in office I work for told him to come in after JAG appt to see if that is his next intended step.

I am reserves. So they won't be asking for my 214. It is crazy weird with reserves. We get final ratings right away. My injures were from active duty though. I am on 290 days for rating. :("""

Reserve also.

Did you have any VA ratings before the MEB/PEB?
