Yep I think some funny business is going on over there with us reserve and guard members. Somehow since February the DAV lost access to my cases and the POA with them disappeared. I just had to redo it only with my DAV rep to get them back access once again otherwise they can't see anything on my file. Once they got access back he said they could see my proposed ratings for the PEB was done but they were restricted access. He said their is something weird that they normally have unrestricted access to a file, but big parts of mine is restricted off from the DAV. They are baffled that they can barely see me in the multitude of VA systems.

I guess I will have to just sit, wait, and don't give a @#(# till the ratings get to the PEB and then they get the 199 back to me I guess.

Another thing I got told is the VA will need the DD-214 even as reserve / guard to finalize the ratings. I may need to follow up and explore that because I thought as well we get paid immediately.

I’m in the same boat as you. I signed my 199 on March 5th. I called my PEBLO about it yesterday. She informed it has been as TRANSPOC since the 11th and wasn’t sure what what’s taking so long for them to send the notification to the separation office here at Ft Campbell. Hopefully we will both hear something this week!

Yeah I have prior ratings from other conditions so they have mine already.

Ratings are done I see 80% VA via the ab8 benefits letter online. so that means I have probably reached the retirement threshold of 30% with the DOD in my opinion. I will just wait till officially notified by the PEB But I think I'm at the end of the tunnel now.

It went to complete and I have no open claims period at this time. So I don't think they need a DD-214 if they already are paying you a percentage and have a DD-214 that says you are a veteran already.

Well I came up on TRANSPROC yesterday. Went to my retirement brief after talking to the commander and will be 100% out of the army on April 20th. Will start leave on the 29th. Thanks for everyone that either directly or indirectly gave me valuable info on this forum. It's been a long year but it was worth the wait. Hopefully the rest of you will make it out very soon as well.

Got a suprising call from my Peblo today. The only reason i was suprised is because it was after 5 and she was still at work taking care of stuff. My 199 is in the system just waiting on one signiture but she was able to tell me that it was 100% both sides and permenant instead of tdrl. She said during the exit interview with the msc we will go over unemployability. Cant wait its finaly getting closer.

My peblo told me that with a unemployability tagged on to it that their are extra benefits. If thats not the case let me know. And if it is what are the extra benefits. Thanks.

Only benefit of unemployability is if a vet is for example rated 70% they get paid 100% rate

Thanks everyone!! Just sent in 199 now to PEBLO and things should be on their way. I talked to my MEB Coordinator here at Presidio of Monterey and she expects TRANSPOC by this thursday!!
