Had a status change from Review of Evidence where it went back to Gathering of Evidence. Was hoping to see the famous requesting separating documents but saw this intead: VAMC Puget Sound, DMA physicians with a start date of April 26, 2014 and a due date of June 25, 2014. What does this mean? Kind of frustrated because if everything was there and good to go, I believe it would have been said requesting sep docs.

Puget VAMC is the name of the veteran hospital in Seattle, they are probably having docs going over your medical evidence supporting your conditions

That's what I figured. I brushed through some of the older posts on here and saw that a few had similar entries and heard back within 1-14 days, so hope to hear good news soon!

Another week down.. as the average on IDES goes down for VA rating my time goes up..

I've been waiting 196 days on VA Ratings. I am active duty and mine is one of the longer waits I have heard of.

I waited 128 days for a proposed rating.
Today is day 139 for my VARR.

I'm starting to get really frustrated.

20 days waiting for 199, I found out one of the Dr's left a date off of a memo so PEB kicked it back to VA.

I have been lurking for 4 months now and this is my first post. Im only in day 40 of waiting for ratings so I know it will still be awhile. Im just curious to know if the VA has got a handle on the backlog and are wait times increasing or decreasing. I cant seem to find anything legit online but maybe im just using bad wording or something. Any information someone can give me would be appreciated.

They seem to be getting a handle on it slowly, but surely. They average length seems to be going down every other week or so. I am personally on day 61 of waiting on my Ratings and my ebenefits changed to PENDING DECISION APPROVAL yesterday so hopefully mine will be over soon. If so I would definitely be one of the lucky ones.

Hope this helps... if not I am sure there are some people who are far more educated on the process that can give better feedback.

I spoke with the VA this afternoon and my ratings are indeed complete and I should be hearing from my PEBLO within the next few days. Feeling extremely blessed at how quickly all of this has went thus far.

Did you speak to the VA over the 1800 number? And were they able to give you a sneak peak at anything? I'm really just curious in my case on what they rated (Since I've low balled my own guesstimations on what my percentages should be-ish based on my C&P exams already) since I have never seen an Unfit memo, or any paperwork telling me what conditions were found "Unfit" yet.

I've officially became one of those people who check ebenefits, and Ides Dashboard every day. I have now stepped it up a notch and have been checking the Monday Morning reports. The strange part to me is my dash board is going down and the Morning report keeps going up. Numbers just ain't matching up. Anyone have a good understand on it?

I did the same thing last week. My status changed on Ebenefits to Pending Decision Approval. So I immediately called the VA 1800# and they said my proposed ratings were done and they sent the ratings back to the PEB. I wasn't able to get them to give me a sneak peak unfortunately. I called my Peblo the same day she said it wasn't in the system yet. I called my peblo again today and she said it's finally in the system as of 23 April my ratings were done but she hasn't recieved anything from the PEB yet. So hopefully I'll be getting a phone call soon to come in and get my ratings. I am on day 135 since my package was sent to the VA and over 150 since the PEB found me unfit and over 365 in the MEB process. So hopefully my Peblo will call me in soon.

No I wasn't able to get a sneak peak or anything, and to be honest my PEBLO knows nothing of ebenefits so she can't even help there. She just emails me extremely vague responses. I definitely understand the curiousity, as I have a quite rare condition that just gets lumped in with anything with similar symptoms. I will keep you all updated as I find more. And yes, it was just on the 1800 #

Thought I would share my time line VA 106 and 226 all to gather. Ebebefits changed to Gathering of Evidence Requested separation documents’. So it looks like I am almost done. I have call VA 1800 # several times and I can’t get my purposed rating out of them. :D

Still sitting at Preparation for Decision. Day seven at that stage. Anyone know what the normal wait time for ratings is from this point?

A friend of mine that just got out last Sunday was in that stage for almost 2 weeks...He checked every day seemed like 100 times. Another that got out a montha ago had it all change within one day. I guess it all depends on their workload and with supervisor gives the green light.

I was in Preparation for decision for nearly a month. Once it changed to Pending Decision Approval that means your proposed ratings are done and on their way back to the PEB. So I am just waiting for my Peblo to call me in to give me my ratings. Been waiting for 7 days already.

Just to let you know, I just got 40% DoD for bilateral compartment syndrome. It was my only unfitting condition as well.

I had a bunch of similar VA claims too and ended up with 90%

Anybody have recent Active Duty TRANSPROC times? My 199 was signed and returned to the PEB yesterday. I'm hoping I can be on the road heading home by May 21st. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed.
