Just received my 199 today %30 DOD, %90 VA, permanent retirement. My status on e benefits went to review of evidence from preparation for decision after 125 days of rating wait timeline on 04/21/2014 and today 04/30/2014 I received my 199 and signing it tomorrow then wait for orders and go back to HOME! Thank you everybody. I will post a timeline tomorrow from AKO. FYI my ebenefits and AKO updates were pretty decent ( 3-4 days mistake) in timely manner
My ebenefits is in the "review of evidence" phase and has been since 3/25/2014. Which is weird because my packet had not been sent to the PEB until 4/11/2014 and unfit letter didnt come back until 4/15/2014. Is the VA able to review my evidence if they didnot have all of my packet?

Hey all. I've been in the MEB process since the beginning of October 2013. I'm just moving past day 102 in my wait for VA ratings. I'm getting out for 2 unfit conditions, a pulmonary embolus and a bilateral knee condition (I believe 
). Can anyone share with me any phone numbers to check on the ratings or anything for that matter? My IDES still says I'm waiting on ratings and my Ebennies acct says it's still gathering evidence. I also went to my PEBLO 2 days ago and she's telling me, through her computer program(s), that the VA hasn't even picked up my packet since it got to them in January. Any type of coaching, advice, and help will be well appreciated, as well as much-desired. Thank you.

If you PEBLO stated they haven't started rating yet, then that's the same info you'll get from the VA
I signed my 199 on 25 Apr which was a Friday, called Retirement Services on Tuesday and she said it had hit already, and got my orders Yesterday. Start clearing Monday and Final out 13 May. Its gonna steamroll now for you.

Status changed back to review of evidence. From what I understand, my review should be at the top of the list since it has already been seen once. Does anybody know if there is any truth to that? Also, all of my status changes have come on a Saturday afternoon. I am pretty persistent in checking once in the morning, at noon, and in the evening and it was at gathering this morning. Either way, thinking I am pretty darn close.
Remember, remember, the 5th of November. My MEB packet the Seattle VA, had got. I know of no reason, why the Seattle VA, hasn't touched it since early March, it must have been forgot.
Been 180 days today since my packet was submitted for ratings, talked to my MSC Wednesday, since my PEBLO is less than useful AND on vacation, but I digress. He told me that it's not pending any further reviews or anything, yet it's hasn't been touched or looked at since early March.
Only 1 unfitting condition, my right ankle as s/p 3 ankle surgeries, with severe tendon and ligament damage. Dealt with the condition for nearly 2 years before the MEB started, so they added everything musculoskeletal from the feet up, and ended up with 23 claimed conditions, nearly 2/3 of which were marked as in remission.
I think it's ridiculous that it's now been 6 months and no rating, or news of rating, and even more ridiculous that my packet hasn't been touched in 2 damn months. Is this common practice with the Seattle VA?

I'm coming up on 170 days with my PEBLO telling me to just "hang in there" .. It seems all of us November unfitting are being passed up by later unfitting dates.
At least your PEBLO gives you some verbal support. Anytime I ask mine even simple questions, all I get back from her is "your MEB packet is still pending VA ratings, you'll be notified when they're finished" . . . Thanks a lot, useless wretch >_<
Nothing much else your PEBLO will tell you other than that if their isn't any update with your claim
I started my whole process in October of 2013 and my PEBLO told me it hasn't been touched since January. Be happy/lucky your packet is getting some love!
Seems there's quite a few people waiting unduly long while the VA is just sitting on its ass. Few people in my unit are tuck in the same situation, although not entirely long as a few of us on here. Just hope to hear news from my PEBLO when she gets back this week.
Did you ever hear anything back. I had the same issue as you with the Puget Sound Review about a week after you. Hope your stuff comes back soon.
Well it's been 14 days since the VA finished my proposed ratings and sent back to the PEB and my Peblo still hasn't called me in yet. I am hoping she Will call me in sometime today or this week. I am getting frustrated with this whole thing. Been in the MEB phase for over a year and been waiting 140 days for my ratings. I am hoping to be done by end of June.
