Alright guys I need help. I called the 1800 number and they said "we are waiting for a DD214". That's when I called my DAV rep again and he said dont ever call the 1800 number they are confused and since you're in the IDES process they don't know what's going on.

But here is what the eBenefits says:

Send us the original or a certified copy of your DD Form 214 or other separation papers for all periods of service. We will return original documents to you.
Date Requested: 06/05/2012
Due Date: 07/05/2012

Thoughts? What does this mean? Obviously it has been there forever, but I don't know what the heck it means!?!?! Anyone else have this? I'm so pissed off. I took BAMF's advice and stopped looking at eBenefits for a few days but it didn't work. I'm almost 110 days now. W-T-F!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm do not qoute me on this but i think from reading other peoples on here someone said that they needed them to finish your claim when you get out... so i hope it means your Prelim ratings are done. I just wish ebennies didn't suck and that when i would click the view required/ received evidence would show the items.

My concern though is that (I can't remember completely) I'm almost positive it's said that since I first created the account months ago. Not to mention it even says the requested date was back in July which is when I had my C&P exams (maybe they were june, i cant remember).

Either way, this is ridiculous. I'm getting very pissed off here.

I don't mind waiting for my husband to get his.. Of course he's only been waiting for almost 4 weeks (will be 4 weeks on Friday). I expected to wait 2-3 months before his stuff ever got to the VA.. If its sooner than that then awesome..

called msc and he looked at it, its my congressional inquiry. It stated they recieved it and have 5 days from yesterday to respond as to what the hell the hold up is!

Hey did you get any info back on this matter? Whats the hold up???

I am in day142 awaiting a rating from Seattle, I launched a congressional inquiry yesterday, so if it doesn't help me maybe it will help some of you or future Soldiers won't have to wait so long for ratings

So, my husband just checked his ebenefits and his claim shows up on the historical as complete. That happened A LOT quicker than we were expecting!! His claim was sent to the VA from PEB on the 1st!

Congrats, should be signing that 199 n a week or 2 maybe sooner, but you PEBLO or MSC can tell you what the ratings are

You have to stop relying on ebenefits, it's not really built towards soldiers in IDES, yes it can be helpful at times but for the most part don't rely on it, either keep in contact with your MSC PEBLO or get in contact with DAV, they can actually look in to the system and see your status, ebenefits or the 1800# relys on the RO where you claim is at for updates, so if the RO don't update the system then ebenefits is pointless

My Unfit was sent 15 feb. My ebenfits doesnt even work, my MSC has never emailed or called me back and the VA cant seem to see my status. I just would like to know the status, if anything. Hopefully they didnt lose it... Im thinking of contacting the DAV to see if they can at least get me an answer if the VA even has my memo. I know some people have been waiting alot longer but some transparency would be nice.

no offense i hope i am. almost 90 months now. I know they started my ratings on March 20th! so hopefully a few weeks.
