my PEBLO just informed me that my ratings were received at the PEB on 4/26/13. does anyone know about how long its gonna take to get my 199?

A week or less

has anyone noticed a little more expedience from the VA on the rating turn around? It seems like a whole bunch of you just got your rating back and from what i can see most of those were within the 90 day time line? Correct me if i am wrong. I am still hoping to be out and about my daily life mid-July. My unfit memo just was sent up at the start of April '13.

Day 146 since unfit memo. PEBLO says, "I don't know why it's taking so long, oh well call me again tomorrow."
MSC says, "I checked your case and they have everything they need to complete your rating, don't worry you are still well within the 295 day window they have to rate you." She's right I guess, I am only at day 197 in the IDES process. Neither one of these responses was very helpful especially as the fourth person in my company who started their MEB after me is out of the Army now.

yeah they say lots of stuff brother but the 1800 number at the va told me that they had no idea how long it would take

90 days is possible but you shouldn't hold your breath. I'm at 150+ days and from ebennies I expect to get a call soon but I'm still waiting. Good luck though...

Thanks for the update. I see a lot of the same people having problem with this. However, it seems as a whole the process is still meeting the timelines? That is what i am curious about as i am new to this forum. On average most people are or are not getting the VA ratings in a reasonable time frame, i.e. <90 days?

It's happening but you have some that aren't it's hit or miss

251 days total and 80 days since unfit memo. Ebens went from pending approval to under review about 2 weeks ago.

WooHoo I know its not much but mine finally changed to prep for decision today. Day 98 of waiting for ratings so hopefully this signals that I am almost done waiting. Im hoping by the end of the day that it changes to Pending Approval. Hopefully only a few more weeks and this will all be over with.

Waiting on the official ratings, but VA rated my 100% for all conditions, but only 10% for my one referred (unfitting condition according to DOD)--my neck injury, which I found odd since it was my biggest complaint.

I'm just hoping that the PEB rated me at 30% or more now..

Last Friday I email my state representatives and senators and signed their release forms on Monday. Today I got a call from the VA saying that I need to come back into the clinic and have my exams done again (range of motion, specifically). I don't think it's a coincidence. Sure enough, EBenefits reflects this too... they need more info to go forward.

So does anyone know what the deal is here? Are they going to fast track my new exam and crank my ratings out or am I going back to the bottom of the pile?

I hope you have better luck than me. The same thing happened to me but it was a mistake I didn't need the exam. That was over a month ago. The VA is requesting my DD214 so hopefully this ends sooner than later.

Well, I had it in my hands (the 199) all looked good, then wouldn't ya know, BAM! The VA messed up on my codes that they put in, so now they need to re-do the 199. So here we go, back to the waiting game. I don't want to play no more though.

I was told whenever there is a change like that, especially new exams that you start all over in the waiting time to get rated. The congressional inquiry was probably just a coincidence, but who knows. I wouldn't be happy about the fact that you need new exams.

So, got congressman to call again today and did iris inquiry too, im bound and determined not to be here at the 365th day of this nightmare

If you're at a WTU try going to visit your VA office and have the OIC contact the Seattle office directly. That is what I had to do (or rather what I had IG do for me)....IG forced her hand into contacting the supervisor of the Seattle raters to push my packet through after the same wait time you are experiencing. I think me visiting her office and the PEBLO office daily for the past month also encouraged them to do something.
