Update from the great white north- Got my proposed ratings on the 6th of Jun 13, waited 136 days for VA to get off their ass and make it happen. Rated 70% DOD, and 90% VA. Not here the kicker I have 20 years and they still said TDRL, because of PTSD after 7 combat deployment. Whatever!! Start clearing on the 24th and Final out on the 9th of July 13. Retirement as of 28 August 13. Its been a real painful experience, and now they want to rush me out the door. At least I can now make plans to go home. 15 years away is to long, and I need a few SoCal sunsets to calm me down. until next time I guess , good luck everyone.

Welcome to the PEB Forum! :)

Congratulations on the recent receipt of your DoD TDRL and DoVA ratings. :D

That said, please continue your post-military retirement PTSD treatments to ensure that you shall obtain the best possible IWA re-evaluation within the six month requirement to support at least the same (or higher) PTSD rating by the USAPDA PEB for potential PDRL; if you are U.S. Army.

To that extent, I totally comprehend your situation; I am in the same boat as you! We shall prevail; positive thinking yields positive results!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Yeah its sitting in cubicle 346 at the Seattle DRAS site not sent!
That's weird. From the day mine got sent, it took 4 business days to get back here to JBLM and for me to sign it (2 times becuase of a mispelled word). What post you at again?

about to hit day 100 since unfit was sent to Seattle DRAS and still no help from the PEBLO. Seriously losing my patience. It would be nice to know something, if anything. My ebennies changed to prep for decision already but still no word. Freaking awesome.. if anyone knows how I can see if my ePEB has updated or anything it would be helpful. AKO MEB/PEB hasnt changed in forever.

ABNone the only suggestion I have is send a power of attorney to the dav. That is the only way I have gotten any information the only thing my PEBLO tells me is nothing new yet and he'll call me when he gets something. The DAV was helpful at first but the last time I called him was the end of May and all he would say is that they are in separate buildings then the DRAS people and that he thinks I should see something in the next 30 days. When did yours change to prep for decision. Mine changed on April 30th and I am still waiting I will hit day 150 since unfit next week.

ABNone, my case is going the same way. Ebenefits for me is next to useless. Nothing has changed in my AKO MEB/PEB in 6 months. Not that there ever has been anything in the PEB tab.
My ratings wait is now at 151 days since the case went to VTA. "Prep for Decision" has showed for months.
I did get some information from Sascha Roberson. You can try and contact him. And I went to the local DAV, signed a power of attorney, and they can tell me a little more.
Just hang in there, be proactive and keep on the PEBLO. I called the supervisor of my first assigned PEBLO, as she never once contacted me, would not answer emails, and her phone just rang and rang. Found out from Supervisor that she had done nothing on my case for months. It was sitting on her desk. She "no longer works for us" is what I was told.
Within hours of this call, my new PEBLO contacted me. She was very quick and efficient on filing the case. Getting updates is another issue.
Best of luck to you and don't give up. There are times when I just want to walk away from this and be done, but then I realize I would be shooting myself in the foot. As I am still in the ARNG, I would seriously screw myself.
Take care.

Closing in on 2 month wait for finalized ratings!!!!!!!! Wait Wait Wait Wait and Wait lol
Oh and my local VA hospital so booked up my first primary care appointment isn't until September, so looks like I need to use tricare and copays!!!!

I have a question. I just checked ebenefits for the first time in a few days. There are no messages about any service being done on the site. However when I checked my status there is nothing showing in current or historical claims now. It just states under both that status is not available at this time. Should I be excited that my ratings may finally be done or should I be worried that they just completely lost everything. Everything else on there looks the same so I dont think that it is a maintenance or server issue. Anyone have any ideas or experience anything similar?

Don't stress out over ebenefits bro! The site is usually down every weekend for maintenance!!

Update, ebenefits returns to gathering of evidence request for seperation documents, msc forwards me cc traffic from va email stating letter uploaded and forwarded to the peb! partay!

I hope you can get it by the end of the week, Just keep your fingers crossed

Seattle was prompt for my PROPOSED ratings, the IDES system does a great job of getting someone excited about their respective compensation. The issue is the finalization process is a hemmaroid! It's like going through another MEB!

How long after you sent the DAV your power of attorney did it take to process it?

Usually takes 48 hours, you can also assign DAV as your rep using ebennies
