Good morning!

Wondering if anyone has current timeline on the PEB index being sent to PERS and how long it’s taking for messages to be sent out notifying of separation?

For context: I signed my findings and they were submitted back to PEB on 12/20.

Any insight is appreciated!

I signed and sent my findings back on Nov 14, 2023, and I still haven't received my separation message.
 
You need to consider the holidays, Thanksgivings,Christmas and NewYears. Nothing happens at PERS for about half the time. I signed the week before Thanksgiving and heard zip until the first week of January.

In the Navy PEB setting, it takes about 2-3 weeks from the time that the PEB received your acceptance of findings for the case to be indexed and sent to PERS- but, as Chaplain Charlie wrote, that does not include the holidays. Right now, many of the PEB admin staff are on leave and things will move slowly for that reason.
 
Good morning. So I called PEB today and found out something was wrong and I got missed. The man had me stay on the phone to fix it and said to call back on Wednesday and he’d be able to give me my Index number. Glad I called and had them fix it.. I would’ve been waiting longer and wasting time.

Did you call the 571 number? I’ve called that number on and off over the last couple days and no one has answered. I understand it is the holiday season.

Spoke to the PEB yesterday - I just entered QA. He mentioned they only have 2 individuals working over the Holidays in QA. By the week of 08JAN they'll be up to 5, following week 15JAN up to 6 people working in QA. He anticipates things going VERY slow over the holidays but picking up after.
