Separation physical?

Are you still required to complete a separation physical with navy medical if you've been found unfit/completed C&P's/being retired?

NO. Don't do it. Your separation authorization message gives direction not to.

Do you have the verbage/know where it is in writing for that? Command here has been having people do it anyway gonna be time for to check out soon just want to be ahead of the game

I am in the same boat. Waiting on my message to separate but was told I need a separation dental and physical exam with an up to date PHA.

You mean where is it BESIDES the freakin' message? I forget, it's either in the SECNAV M-1850.1 or the DODI 1332.18. Are you saying your command isn't going to follow the instruction from the message?

Im saying I don't think they know where it's at, other people who already got their messages/sep aut here said they didn't see it either.

I checked with one of my Sailors today. Unless they have changed the format of the message, it is paragraph 6. And there is also a reference to the actual instruction in that paragraph.
