Hi all,
I was just thinking about something that could possibly occur. What would happen if a Soldier (U.S. Army) were to be given a lower than 30% disability rating and given severance pay, just to switch over to the VA rating system in which he/she recieved a larger percentage above 30% in regards to medical benefits for one's family? Are they gone forever because the initial rating by the Army was less than 30%? I do understand that the veteran would be given medical benefits through the VA but what about the family members?
Thanks everyone, especially Jason who is always willing to help, you are truely a Good Person who has a good heart and that is uncommon in this day.
