Severance Pay and VA pay

Got my message today finally, 24APR. Does anyone know "roughly" when I should get my severance and VA pay? Thanks.

Hey man, I'm in the same boat. Not Navy, so it might be a bit different. Our finance office has to do a final audit of the account and, at Barksdale AFB, they suggest a 10-20 day window. I did manage to find one other guy on the forum, this is what he said:

Yes I received it two weeks after I got out. Aug 1st and Aug 4th my VA claims finalized

My discharge date is 07APR26, I'll reply here and let you know when I get it.

Thanks man. Only have 2 months of savings so I’ll really need the severance until the VA hits. I’ll check back mid april. Good luck!
