NVLSP stated I had the merit to go forward with upgrading my discharge to a medical retirement for my PTSD. I’m rated at 100 percent P and T.
NVSLP emailed me that I was assigned an attorney. This was done on March 2019. NVLSP told me that it takes a few weeks for an attorney to look over my files and then he will reach out to me. Well...weeks turned into months. I waited until October 2019 and I finally had it and reached out to NVLSP that the attorney never contacted me. Then a day later I was contacted by email and 2 days after we got on the phone and had a 30 minute conversation about what will happen.
basically the attorney told me I have a very strong case to get an upgrade. From there he said he will work on the draft application and he will send them to me for my review. Well....this was October 2019... and this attorney still is not done with the drafts... it’s been 6 months already... he was supposed to be done with them for my review back in around November.... then it got pushed back cause he did some traveling to Asia... I could not contact him so I contacted his supervisor... basically I’m just not feeling confident that this person is even working on this
