Should I go to the VA?

Im just about to go before a fit for duty board. ND NG, 16 years. I had a stroke on Dec 28th 2015.

Currently Im getting 10% from the VA for Tinnitus.
My back L4/L5 is rated at a 0 right now.

I am a fed tech so my VA rating doesn't disqualify me. I haven't gone in since I had my stroke.
 
Since you are a traditional Guardsman and weren't on orders, I don't think that will be considered service connected. For traditionals that LOD is how service connection is determined. But it can't hurt to ask. Also, I'm not an expert by any means. I'm just going off of my experience with my traditional soldiers that had injuries or illnesses when they weren't in a pay status. Someone else on here will likely know something that I don't.
