Whoever has successfully skillbridge during medboard please reply I’m trying to figure something out.

Am I able to extend my skillbridge past my temporary separation date if I get my orders reflecting longer than the temporary DOS?
For example if my skillbridge is from 18NOV2023 - 31JAN2024 and my temporary DOS is 27FEB2024 if I get a new DOS reflecting 27APR2024 could I extend?

I do not if you could extend past this day. But you can ask this question your Education Office.

I'm currently doing Skillbridge (start date: 14Aug2023) with a projected separation date 31Dec2023(End of AGR Orders) while going through the MEB. I would personally ask the education office and ask that question especially since they give us 180 days to utilize Skillbridge and go to your commander to update your permissive TDY to extend that date for you if the Education office updated your dates in AFVEC.

So, I was able to do a work around with the help from a couple commands. Basically with how long the Navy was taking with the boards, skillbridge would run out. What our units did was No cost TAD me a unit near were I was skill bridging with and check in with them. Because the skillbridge program ended at the 6 month mark, depending on how much leave you have, is put in leave for the days you want to work at the company, then you are paid by the company as well as collecting a paycheck.
I currently work a 2 week on/2weeks off type schedule. My EAS was supposed to be a year ago on OCT24 2022. I just got word i'm likely going to be in for another 6 months at a minimum due to a surgery and how slow the IDES goes for the USMC and Navy. My command was the one that helped come up with that work schedule and it helped quite a bit.
