SSDI Hearing tomorrow

I have my hearing on 6 Sep. At that time it will be about 11 months since I applied and been denied twice. It will be approx. 16 months since my injury. I filed also while at the WTU and nothing was expedited until I got a lawyer.

Hope all goes well.

All right, that's forward progress and good news! No worries, it's all good! :)

To that extent, I pray for a successful and favorable "disabled" SSA SSDI determination upon completion of your AJL hearing.

With that all said, I look forward to your future post with a favorable notification about SSA SSDI award determination. ;)

I can't get my va providers to provide an RFC or a DBQ. They won't even put my limitations in my records "per the hospital attorney". Any help my records are long and cover a lot of stuff, but I feel they do not specify my limitations enough.

Sorry to hear this, but it seems you are getting the run around. Did you submit the request through ROI?

What is roi?
ROI, in the VA, is Release of Information. Going to ROI is a very important step when you need to get your medical records, or if you need a physician to complete documents for something like Social Security.

Dude did you not pull your DBQ off of your My Healthy Vet? They are on there, i pulled all of mine off, every time you go see the docs you get something added to it.

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but did you check the date that you went to the appointment on there. It took about 3 days for my PTSD DBQ to show up my TBI took about 2 weeks but if you saw a DR you were referred to it is supposed to be in there! I religiously check mine and the only thing that hasn't popped up is an emg from 2 weeks ago! Keep trying brother the stuff should show up on there. I don't understand either why the docs up there won't sign anything. Have you spoken to your PCM, mine here seems willing to do anything for me. If not i see your 70% DOD see if you can go the regular DR route and see if they can help. I mirror my civilian care DR with all of my VA DR stuff so that way everyone is on the same page.

mine just went off the date when you choose to download VA and DOD information only

Takes 30 days for CRSC thats business days so a normal of about 6 weeks id call around 2 weeks in to make sure they got it and call back 2 later for status thats what i did! Good Luck

I'm 18 hours away from my hearing and I'm do nervous. This is a life changing decision. My lawyer called me on Friday and said the documentation on the case is good and that he is confident in the case and that we just need to get my testimony on record. I feel like everything is on me now, the lawyer also said my wife who is also my care giver won't be in the hearing. The lawyer also told me to dress normal and look disabled rather than dress up and look professional. If my case is so strong why am I even going to court.

I know what you mean. My case was a slam dunk, but the decision-makers below the court system just couldn't seem to say "Yes", So delays after delays from initial application, it finally went to a hearing.

Hearing took less than 45 minutes.

I reported my experience at the hearing on this web site. You can read it here:

Hmm, this is an interesting comment in my opinion!

Just got out of my hearing the judge asked his hypothetical questions which forced the VE to state there were 0 jobs for me to do. My lawyer only asked one question after that to verify if I missed more than 3 days a month due to my disabilities if I would be hired and she verified saying NO!! I think I won!!
