Any suggestions on who or if I should contact someone? I retired March 29, my claim was opened April 2, and moved to evidence gathering and review on April 12 (yes they have my dd214). I’ve been at the preparing for decision stage since at least June. I’ve called the 1800 number several times and am told it’s been assigned a rating team. I called VERA and they told me it’s ready to be rated. This is taking longer than my original ratings during my medboard. My jaws are absolutely killing me from my tmj and my va doctor (community care) referred me to a dentist but I can’t see them until my claims finalize and I’m rated for my tmj, again.

I’m seeing people everywhere posting they’ve already gotten their ratings back who got out after me. Hopefully it won’t take so long for you!Jesus, that's a long time. I have nothing to add besides hoping they don't hit me with the same time frame when I get retired.
I don’t fortunately but thanks for the suggestionIf you meet the requirements for financial hardship or near homelessness you can probably ask the VA to flag it as such which puts it in a priority group.
