TDRL Re-Evaluation

Hello all,

Just got the email that it's time for my first TDRL Re-Eval and it raised some anxiety.

Can they change my VA rating at all? What exactly are they looking for when re-evaluating me?

Thanks!

No they can't touch your VA rating. However, if you have been seen at the VA its possible they won't need to see you if your records are good enough. They can and do lower them when converting to PDRL all the time. Just talked to a Soldier that was TDRL and they were 70% VA and were 70% TDRL. The Army came back with 50% PDRL. If that happens and the lowering it isn't warranted you can appeal. Which I strongly recommend you do if the results don't match up.

However, its very common for it to be lowered because if mental health people get out and then go to school and or work and so that functionality tends to get their rating lowered. Its pretty hard to stay 100% for mental health and then they see you are working a full time job. Those 2 things don't match.
