Twitch is right. Until your very final separation date, you're still on active duty, and still earning 2.5 days of leave per month. So if you approach terminal leave with 30 saved days, you'll accumulate 2.5 days during that month of leave, and should end up getting about 32 days. During outprocessing, they'll do the final calculation to tell you exactly what day will be your final.
