TFSC says, therefore the member is not eligible to receive a retirement DD 214

All,
So, my IDES LOD from 2010 and reoccurrence in 2015, is complete and I have a DOD 60% rating and retirement orders effective 31DEC18. I am Air National Guard and in drill status since coming off MEDCON orders in JUL2012. Today (19DEC18) I get the email listed below. Not sure what it means other than the obvious. Does anyone have a clue to how I would get a DD-214 since I have PDRL orders? Ron P

Message from the TFSC ( I assume is Total Force Service Center?)
In order to be eligible for a retirement DD 214 the member must serve on Active Duty for 90 or more continuous days leading up to the retirement date. Our office has reviewed the member's point credit summary and the member was not on Active Duty for 90 or more continuous days leading up to the retirement date, therefore the member is not eligible to receive a retirement DD 214. If this information is incorrect please attach a copy of the official orders and a copy of the LES for the points to be corrected and the DD 214 to be accomplished. I have the same question as you. I have a retirement date of 1 APR 19. Up until 31 JAN 19 I have been on full time orders for two years, but now I am on my last week of Annual Tour(did three weeks of AT monday thru friday in FEB), with my last day working to be this Friday 22 FEB 19. I have asked my MPF if I get a DD214 for the last two years of working on ADOS orders, but they don't really know? I am AFRC but getting a Regular AD retirement.
 
I would call the AFW2 office and ask them for an explanation.

flyin_dutchman, i called the AFW2 and they confirmed that I will not get a DD-214. Since I was not active duty when terminated I will not get a DD-214, yet I should get an NGB-22 statement of service. I guess the PDRL letter will be my proof. As Chaplaincharlie replied, I would recommend you call and ask the question. Ron P
 
This is correct. Unfortunately you will not have a DD 214 for this period of service. You should have a set of retirement orders placing you on the TDRL and a letter that transfers your from TDRL to the PDRL.
 
Post is a couple months old, but I have more "issues' with this topic.
Prior to my retirement from AFRC on 1 APR 19, I was on full time orders for two years. I had requested a DD214 updated to show this period of time I was working. In hind-site, I now know this 'really doesn't matter' to anything with regard to my retirement, I just want it for having my records show correctly.
I did receive my Retirement Order in MyPers from ARPC. It contains standard blurbs and dates of my retirement. BUT, no where does it state the condition of discharge (ie. Honorable) and when I am looking at applying for employment (Federal, Civil Service, etc.) it ALWAYS lists upload your DD214 and the condition of discharge? Now, I know that my retirement order will have to prevail as my Retirement order, but it seems lacking in many ways to fulfill what employers want to see? Is it just me, or am I missing something?
 
RC soldiers on AD greater then 90 days will get a DD214. The regs are very clear on this.
 
AR 635-8 (Army Regs) other services should have something similar.
