I asked the question when I called the IPEB. I was told yes, but not a specfic amount of time. PEBLO told me 2-3 weeks. Would be nice to hear from others
Mine has been at the IPEB for 3 months and 3 days. I had to provide them more information, and it has been there for 25 days since they received everything. I called the other day, and I was told they had everything they needed but they are just backed up. Of course, I was told that my package would be reviewed immediately once they received the additional information...I guess that was wrong.
I was told a few weeks ago by the Lt Cdr at the Navy PEB that the backlog was due to a tech refresh in September that had some issues. He didn't give me any indication of how big or long the backlog is though. My package has been at the PEB for 2 months now.
ill go in tomorrow and talk to my PEBLO and see what she says. chances are she isn't there. WHY? you ask cause that's just how the cookie crumbles lol. well if she is there I will let yall know what I hear. more info or believable rumors would be great to hear.
I taked to one of the Navy Wounded Warrior reps on Tuesday. He called someone (not sure who) that was able to get into the PEB system and say that mine should be done within a few days. The WW rep says that guy knows what he is talking about so hopefully that is true and I know in another day or 2. I hope everything else goes very quickly because I will have to get it all processed and checked out very quickly. The job I have starts December 8th.

That's awesome man, I hope it goes by quickly for you and that your new job goes well. I am so anxious about mine, but it starts in late January. I am considering calling WW now, did you have contact info? I would appreciate it.
The PEB requires everything be in order before proceeding. While everyone hates the wait, it would be even worse if hasty decisions were made without all the proper information being in the file.
Cases are moving much faster now than just a few years ago. The volume of claims is very high. Service members are much better informed of their benefits and are making claims.
My 10 days were up today and I signed my paperwork. VA still shows preparing for decision. Paperwork shows my ratings were approved the first week of October.
