26 yo 11B with 8 years. Submitted to MEB for fair fai arthroscopy and labral repair with return of fai and labral tears.
I received my ratings the other day (20% dod 100% va) of which has given me very little time to appeal. Essentially I jave 3 memorandums/letters to send my peblo consisting of my appeal to the PEB for adjusted ratings as my hip/thigh was documented in my C&P as losing more than 10 degrees of abduction. This should give the push to 30%. This is going under the influence do not agree and request FPEB.
The the second is appealing to the VA ratings which include 0% for cluster headaches with evidence of a subscription medicine called sumatriptan. For some reason at the time the clinical notes were never put it but the medication was. And even tho I complained multiple times throughout a year the same PA never sent me to neurology for it. Ive requested it multiple times.
And the last one is a request to add addendum to my case for osteoarthritis, sleep apnea, ptsd, and cluster headaches. My PEBLO says I cant appeal to that but sources online are mixed on it. But according to AR 40-501 these are all criteria I have met in chapter 3.
I haven't gotten legal counsil because of the shut down and im currently gathering all supporting documentation i can. Im going to the PA tomorrow and hoping I can get some things added to the permanent profile or at least a letter addressing these issues so when the FPEB occurs I have documentation to support reopening the MEB. And further imaging to see if things worsened.
My PEBLO hasn't really been helpful for most of this process, I wasnt told about an IMR when signing all the documentation for the MEB and im just at a loss of what I can and cant do. Any help or clarification is welcome!

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. You would need to request VARR if you are trying to increase a rating on an unfit condition. To add a condition you would need to request a FPEB. The FPEB date would be further out and give you time to gather information to present to the board. I would look at hiring a private dedicated attorney if you can afford one. It would have been best to hire one from the start. If something was wrong it should have been appealed at the NARSUM but the way this works is they just run everyone through the process as fast as possible. To get the best results you need to appeal early and often if something isn't right. I will send you some attorney references if you want to interview any to hire instead of using JAG.

Unfortunately they give you only 5 days to make the decision or auto elect you agree with the findings. So I've already elected for the FPEB in person with an appointed attorney.

So you can still hire a private attorney if you want. Glad you filed a FPEB. I would fight to try to get 30% DOD or higher. You don't have anything to lose too since the worst case is to still get severance. Getting Tricare for you and your family for life is HUGE!
