Time to get Severance Pay

From January 2022:
”Some have reported payment of severance at around 30 days. Others have waited longer.”

Allegedly....people I may or may not have talked to have waited up to 4 months. While that is somewhat rare it seems to be happening more often right now. Check with TDRL/R&S of your branch for the DFAS confirmation ticket number (the confirmation number DFAS sends them after they send DFAS your separation/removal orders) and use that when you call DFAS, hopefully it helps.

I guess I just wanted to know how long I should wait until I start calling people. Hopefully it isn't 4 months.
 
I separated 28August and have yet to receive my severance. No help from MNCC,DFAS, or separating command.

Have you actually separated? You have separation orders and DD214 in hand? If not....you aren't separated. Even if your command sent you home "on terminal."
 
Yes I separated 28Aug. I received my DD214 in hand when I started terminal 14Jul, had my separation orders about 2-3 weeks before terminal.
