Here is my timeline so far. AD Marine at Fort Meade, my board went through Walter Reed.

Med Board Initiated: Sept 7, 22
Legal Brief: Sept 8th, 2022
VA Initial Interview: Sept 28, 22
VA appointments started: Oct 4, 22
VA appointments Finished: Nov 14, 2022
NARSUM Signed: Nov 29, 22
PEB Accepted: December 2, 22
Sent to VA for ratings: Jan 8, 2023

Ill update when necessary. Does anyone know how long its taking for the VA to purpose ratings and then what the next step is? thank you!

Wow you’re moving fast. VA seems to be taking around 3 months to complete ratings at the moment. Then the ratings get sent to the PEB and they send your PEBLO your initial findings a few weeks later. I would plan on hearing back end of April maybe.

Mine was at the ratings officer for around 90 days as RockyRoad said, Once your case shows up as closed on the VA website (its normal for it to show "no pending claim" during the IDES process) you will get a call/email from the PEBLO sometime after that. Mine emailed me about 2 weeks after.

How long did it take until the MSC contacted you? I was entered into the DES back in December and didn't have anyone contact me until I walked to their office Jan 25th and asked what was happening and why has it been over a month.

I was referred in early January 2022 and just looked back in my emails and I didn't do my legal breif before election of ides/ldes until April 15th. Just keep doing your monthly Limdu/ides follow ups with your doctor until they contact you. Once they do then things get really busy for a few months with doctors appointments and stuff. Then you sit and wait for months again.

Thank you for the insight! Yeah, I have not been able to see any progress through the VA website but, my MSC said that was normal like you explained, thanks again!

Update:

VA case closed and sent back to PEB march 31st. PEBLO is saying it’s taking DoD around a month for a final decision, does that sound right?

Should I be concerned if my VA interview was April 3RD and my only scheduled appointment so far is on the 24th and there is two others waiting to be scheduled.

No, I claimed 24 things and only had 4 appointments!
You're super lucky. I'm ad usmc I started in early January and just now finished my va exams. They still aren't uploaded online either... I'm expecting September for me to get out

Do they email all the appointments that are scheduled?
