Timeline PAFB

Question for the forum - one of my claims was for night blindness. The C&P eye doctor could not test for it so the VA did not rate it. After my package was sent up I had a hemorage in my right eye (occlusion) and could not see out of my right eye. The ER gave me an eye patch and then I followed up with a uveitis specialist in Aurora, CO. My field of vision was being blocked by blood which my body eventually re absorbed and my vision for the most part came back. He also set me up to have an official night blindness or light perception only test for May 13th. I also had an MRI on my head that showed fluid around my optic nerve, which contributes to intermittent blurred vision. Since I have already received my ratings but have not signed for them, what should I do.

Can you share some of your percentages? Especially the mental health and sleep apnea ones. I have seen my c&p results on myhealthvet and here is what my mental health reading reads:

Occupational and social impairment with reduced reliability and
productivity

Additional Info:
For VA rating purposes, check all symptoms that actively apply to the
Veteran's diagnoses:
[X] Depressed mood
[X] Anxiety
[X] Chronic sleep impairment
[X] Disturbances of motivation and mood
[X] Difficulty in establishing and maintaining effective work and social
relationships
[X] Difficulty in adapting to stressful circumstances, including work or
a work like setting
[X] Suicidal ideation

30% for mood disorder
0% for sleep apnea - I don't use a cpap or have it that bad

Yours should be 50% because of difficulty establishing and maintaining effective relationships

Yea, that's what I am thinking, plus I use a CPAP, and have frequent migraines. I won't know for awhile, but my C&P results was uploaded on myhealthvet and ended up being 164 pages.

Signed for my ratings and requested a retirement date of August 28th

Received retirement orders. Start PTDY june 15 and officially retire August 28th

Indeed, congratulations; take care and please continue to enjoy life! :D

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

I know this is old, but did you receive any rating for your behcet's disease?

So I have been using this website for a resource and I figured I might as well contribute. Background - I have been in 17 years and I wasmisdiagonosed in 2004. In November 2013 I was diagnosed with Behcet's disease and started taking Imuran (autoimmune suppresant) and steroids daily. I require regular labs and have been to the Dr. around 20 times this year for flare ups. I was on a profile Nov 13 until Nov 14, which is when I was placed on a Code 37, given a one year profile and told I would be undergoing an MEB. In the begining I had a delay because my CC had my letter for a month because I am geographically seperated from my command. My letter stated that I should be cured or be medically retired/seperated. So here is my timeline thus far.

Dec 16 2014 - PEBLO office reviewed my package and fowarded to AFPC DPAM
Dec 19 2014 - AFPC ordered full MEB
Dec 23 2014 - Met with PEBLO and VA MSC
Dec 29 2014 - Conducting a sleep study tonight at Fort Carson as part of my claims
Current status - awaiting for C&P exams to be scheduled

Was the behcet's disease every compensatable?
