Timeline to issue new DD214 showing retirement

Does anyone know what the current timeline is for amending orders to show retirement and issuance of an updated DD214/215?
 
Issuance of the DD-214 is an administrative process that happens after AFBMCR (in your case) sends the relevant paperwork to A1. It works at the speed of beauracracy, though there may be ways you can urge enhanced queuing. I'm not an AF guy, so I don't know.

Congratulations on your success.

If you make it clear that you're willing to come sign your DD-214 in person, you can avoid having a 215, which is desirable.
