Hello everyone!

Heres my timeline. Some of the dates are a little foggy for me, but hopefully it’ll give someone an idea of where the board is with cases.

17 Aug 19- Signed papers to officially start the board
End of October- VA Exams
4 Dec 19- Found Unfit for Duty
24 Dec 19- Package sent to PEB and started file assembly

PEBLO told me this morning that I’m looking at another 4-5 weeks of waiting for the board to come back with results. They’re about 900 records behind.

Update: I had my meeting to review my findings today (12 Feb 20). Meeting with my attorney this Friday to see if it is a good idea to rebut the findings.

What is Package sent to PEB and started file assembly? It took 2 1/2 months to get finding s?

Yeah it took that long to get the findings. With the many 96s in there, I think they got really backlogged. I think the file assembly is just them getting all of your stuff together so they can make a decision. Not a 100% sure, though.

@Gr!mR3aper It looks like it was digitally signed by the PEB on 10 Feb 2020. Then I had my meeting with my PEBLO on 12 Feb, and now I have a meeting with my attorney today, 14 Feb to discuss the most beneficial way to move forward from here.

Update: Today (18 Feb) I met with my attorney and signed paperwork to go to the Formal Board and to rebut my findings. I'm told that it will take between 2 and 3 weeks to get the date set for the Formal Hearing, and then another 6 weeks to actually have the hearing in DC. Then it will take another 6-8 weeks to get the results back. I hope this information is helpful to anyone who needs it.

Update: I am still waiting for word about when my hearing will be. Fingers crossed that I hear something soon. Who knows how long this virus will delay things, especially with the DoD travel restrictions.

I just spoke to someone at the Washington Navy Yard about the FPEB and how badly it would be delayed. I was informed that everything has stopped, and nothing is going to happen until at least May 11. I signed my paperwork to demand a hearing on Feb 18, and was told that I won't be getting a hearing date until at least June or July.

Update: I got a call two days ago from a representative in DC about the FPEBs. They are asking people if they would be willing to have a teleconference in place of going to DC to get your cases taken care of. You still have the option to go to DC and do an in-person hearing, but she said that it could be in some people's best interest to go the teleconference route to complete your case. I had a 45 minute conversation with her about my case, so at least things are still moving forward.

Update: Yesterday, 29 April, I signed paperwork to accept my findings and not have a formal board. I'm told that I'll get a new EAS in 2-3 weeks and then my EAS will be 45-60 days after that.
