Peblo said that my package was sent off from peb to VA this week and that VA accepted it. So unofficially I am unfit. YaH! its a big yah for me cause I was facing higher tenure otherwise. lol. Any who, just want to fact check my self real quick, please object if I'm off base here. But would it be safe to say I could be discharged with in the next 90 days? Saying of course I got to pick a date that was exactly 30 days (no leave left. lol) from the day my ratings are issued and signed. My thinking is a month with VA and a Month Back to Peb. From what i see with everyone else this is the average turn around at this point. My case Is just arthritis in the back caused by 4 slipped disk and radio apathy, pretty typical. So I am hoping its a quick turn around given how common it is. Thanks for any input.

So how long from the time your package was accepted at the PEB unitl you found out you were UNFIT?

Well peblo said they accepted it on the 20th of July and they sent it off to the VA this week. Just called VA yesterday they said that they have everything they need to make a decision and its currently pending. So about 5 weeks I guess it took.

That is super quick. im jelly

Wow, that is fast! Maybe because its just a "typical" case.
Ya, back issues is the most common referral case among enlisted personnel. Its also the most straight forward as there is only 4 codes for the conditions and rarely ever secondary condition codes assigned to cases. So the fit/unfit decision usually goes pretty quick because of it being pretty cut and dry. The ratings amount takes longer, cause they got to figure range of movement and all that jazz. But from what I can tell, average turn around from this point is about 2 months, so fingers crossed.
