VA Benefits, where is my claim?

Hi guys, I am trying to get some information. I have gone through the IDES process, I have received my proposed ratings, PDRL message, DD214, and separation orders. So according to the VA help desk, they say that nothing will continue until IDES informs them that I have separated, but I am unsure what that means and who would actually do that, I assumed that the DD214 was how they do that.

Also on the website, it says my claim is closed, but there isn't a decision letter there, any ideas?
 
Is there anew claim? If so upload your DD214 to the new claim. If not send your DD214 to your MSC.

I’m in the same boat. I retired June 29th and was under the impression that shortly after I’d see another claim open up in order to finalize ratings. I still can not see anything other than the one when they did the proposed ratings. When I started terminal back at beginning of June I received my DD-214 and next day I emailed a copy to my MSC and uploaded it via quick submit since I couldn’t on any claim. I also emailed my MSC verified the VA had it. He also told me that providence is finalizing everything and 3-4 weeks after separation is normal.

Congrats! Question for you. How many days total for you to be able to access your final VA award letter? I medically retired July 17th and I have just been waiting for my letter. The VA app updated August 11th saying it was in the decision stage.

Mine kept jumping back and forth between PFN and evidence gathering so don’t be alarmed if yours does the same! It said mine went back for “more processing” and later that day I had my letter. Almost there. Hang in there!
