i was just told they cant give the proposed rating over the phone. I didn’t bother to ask to email it. I’ll try againI called the VA and the lady was nice enough to email me my decision letter that shows my combined proposed ratings. Peblo said until the PEB completes their own part before he can download and gives information.

It took me like 5 days straight of just calling 3-4 times a day until someone said yah sure and sent it, I tried to avoid an descriptive verbiage like “I’m in IDES” and kept it as simple as possible “hey I had a decision letter mailed out on x day can I get an email copy?” Hopefully someone eventually doesn’t care and sends itThe VA won’t give me my proposed rating over the phone. first time I believe I got the whole deal sent to me and it was pretty descriptive, second time after I did a VARR they only sent me a small letter saying my overall without any new info (for context I was already 20 DOD/ 100 VA I was waiting on a reconsideration for my referred condition to meet the retirement eligibility) so basically it was just a recap saying I was at 100 and nothing about my individual rating or VARR outcomeDid they send you each individual rating or only the combined one?

I mean I only said that cause I emailed my legal rep and got an automated response saying legal for the MEB/PEB were furloughed. Also not sure about the DA199’s cause they could only be messing with packets like ours just needing final sign off or they paused everything. My PEBLO said he couldn’t give a timeline for when it would be done and that was todayWait, I head Legal offices were Furloughed but hope the PEB office that will generate our Da199 isn’t? I believe the MEB and PEB offices are military and they are supposed to work during the shutdown right?
I think all Legal counsel offices were furloughed because one of our soldiers said he got his Narsum and there was no legal to review it because of the shutdown. I mean honestly they could just be a skeleton crew I could see that being a possibility as well and maybe a small backlog, seems silly that they would let this process bog down on the literal LAST STEP. I mean you wouldn’t need legal to review your DA199 unless you don’t agree with it. My ratings were complete Oct 10th, but not in the queue to be sent to the DoD until the 14th. So I’d be willing to bet they have quite made it back yet.It was sent to the PEB Oct 2nd. Have u heard anything about urs?

Yah mine was there before the government shutdown but when mine got back to them after my VARR, the PEB for navy/marine was closed for a system wide update to a new internal tracking system. They started the work for that sep 12th and were supposed to be finished in 2 weeks but by sep 30th they were still down and needed more time. So I’m not sure if the system is still down or if it’s the govt closure or both.
