Does anyone know how long it takes to find out your ratings sent case up to IPEB the 27 Aug , I called the va they said the received my paperwork on the 11 Sep and they stated that a rating official started working the case on the 26 SEP

My case was a little more complicated than the average bear and took 6 weeks from the data they began processing until my ratings were received by my PEBLO. I have been told if your case is pretty straight forward, it can take less than 4 weeks.

Another point of interest was that I was checking the e-benefits site daily to watch for updates. The only thing this did for me was to see it go from decision research to decision made awaiting approval. The e-benefit site will provide you no other benefit during this time. It still shows my package as awaiting approval. Prepare yourself to grow in the art of patience. It hurts, but if you walk into this process knowing it, maybe you can maintain some joy throughout if you keep a positive mindset.

Did you get a notification when AFPC sent your docs to the VA for ratings?

Mine just changed on eben to preperation for decision
 
If I had to guess, if you called DRAS, the conversation would go something like this:

Me - Hi, I have a VA claim I would like to check the status on.
Greg the VA dude - Can I get your name & social?
Me - Sure! 123-45-6789
Greg the VA Dude - Stand by
*** quiet tapping, followed by a burp ****
Greg the VA Dude - One of our case workers has it and has uploaded some notes to your file. They are working it as we speak and should have it done soon.
*** Cue the sponge bob "two weeks later" ***
Me - freaking VA
