Im security forces with 7yrs in being MEB for PTSD and major depression. Completed the psych eval for the second time today in light of new evidence. I had the same dr who evaluated me the first time. My question is during the interview the dr would ask me a question and i would answer it he would look through a drop down menu on the computer then ask me another form of the question but less invasive and then select that option from the drop down menu. It seemed a little frustrationg having to answer the same version of a question multiple times until the dr seemed to get the answer he wanted. anyone else experience this if so what was your outcome. at first he said the PTSD and major depression diagnossis should be the same then at the end of the interview he said that they should be differant just like they are in my medical report. any insight would be great.

This sounds like my entire VA experience so far. The MH Dr at times even stated that I did not want that info into my records. I was Legacy so my VA is seperate and completed and on one response he stated that with the answer I gave him they might claim it existed prior to service. I was at 9 yrs AD at that time and did 10 yr Res/NG and 11 yr AD after that. I would think it would not matter at all but I told him to put it in. Who knows what they are saying but I figure I'll have to fight them someday as well.

Side note, I was at the VA yesterday and I was asking about the life insurance. A lady stated to try USAA and the VA rep stated I had to many health issues to get regular insurance. I might make fun of my health issue with my friends but I really don't like being told this out in public like that.

Starting to ramble
good luck
