Va question for active duty

I called the va today and they said my claim is complete and verified my address so they can send the packet to the right address. I haven't even been notified if I was unfit yet but I'm pretty sure I was since it went to the va. The regs say it won't even go to the va if found unfit. My Peblo is useless and don't know the regs, and tells me ebenefits is useless because I might still come back fit. All in all, I'm unfit, and the va process is also done, how long before I get notified of my findings? They do have a time frame don't they? Any help appreciated.

When it is sent to the PEBLO they only have 10 days for you to respond. I would think they would not wait around. They called me the same day mine was received. Where did you call about the VA? I want to make sure they have my updated mailing address and everything.
 
1800 827 1000. When you get through the correct prompts, and it asks press one for claims information, don't press one or they will call you in a few days press 0 and it will connect you with a rep. It might be a long hold, but they tell you where your claim is, which is usually ahead of ebenefits. They the give you a timeframe of when your claim should be done based on how many conditions and their workload. So much better than my peblo, who says anywhere from 1 to 6 months. Lol so useless. A time frame like that will drive a person nuts.

I was found unfit by PEB on 03/15/12... Now ebenefits says "Pending Decision Approval"... What's next? Am I almost done with this crap?
 
my findings were sent to me on 16MAR12 according to the Navy(i called a number i found on here) as of right now 27MAR12 my PEBLO has not seen my paperwork....soooo im not really sure whats going on.
 
The va number work, thank you. I called the va, and they told me a decision was made 0n 16MAR12, and now a supervisor needed to review before a final award could be made. She asked if i sent in my dd214, i said no because i am still ative duty. My claim is being processed out of the Province office. So does that mean my proposed rating are sent back to DC now? So i should hear soon?
 
yes after Province they get sent back to the Navy in DC to do a paper shuffle then if needed it will be sent back to the VA again if not they will send the completed package back to you. From what i understand atleast
 
Such a frustrating process. I guess my va stuff is chilling in Washington right now on someone's desk, or in their desk. The va said their side is complete as of 19 march. But still have not heard a word, and my peblo still gives me the "dont call me I'll call you" attitude. Ahhh I want to get out of this place and move on with my life, and at least before summer hits, I can't take another 120 degrees everyday of the summer Again! Lol
