Va rating questions. HELP!!

Curious, do you have anything saying this? I was told they are running roughly a month behind schedule through an email from my PEBLO but didn't state why.. Do you know if this affects MEBs in Europe?
I got my ratings last week. I'm stationed in Germany. Idk how I got my ratings but I did!

You give me hope mine will be soon. Our dates are relatively close, both AF, in Germany. Looks like you got good ratings. Are you accepting them or going on to a FPEB? Although Perm retired and 90% VA not much a reason to.

Nope, peblo says she doesn't have access to get them, and va won't tell you anything about your proposed ratings on the phone or email. Only way is by certified mail, they said mine was sent out that day so I should get it with in 7- 10 days
Is it true that nothing actually comes to your house?

I am Air Force and its seems to be affecting me as well. Im on day 53 since my PEBLO submitted my paperwork to the IPEB. Although I know there are people who have waited much longer than I have, it really sucks. Also knowing we are going into the Christmas season, I fear it will be pushed back some more.
Don't worry I'm on 121 days since they submitted. Along the same lines as @Cobra67

While in the IDES process, proposed ratings will go to your peblo, not your home. I think the reason this is sometimes said to us is because they deal with more veterans than AD so they recite the standard response of "it's in the mail and you'll receive it soon." even though it does not apply to those in the IDES process.

I called and they verified my address and said it was sent to my house and my peblo,
So not too sure? They said wait 10 days and if it's not there they will re send it.
I'll let you know if I get it or not this week.

In most cases if the VA gives you a date that they sent it back to the PEB that should correlate with that claims close date in historical claims by a day or two. Just to clear things up about the whole 3-10 day mailing thing. This used to be the case, actually in the (now) outdated IDES timeline there was a 15 day admin period for moving packages through the mail. I believe the marine corps, of course, was the last service to transition to digital services. So now everything that is sent from PEBLO to PEB to VA to PEB to PEBLO is all electronic. Safer and quicker process. The only mailing that would go on is when you would ask the VA to mail your proposed ratings to you through a phone call.

By the sounds of it, your package is moving forward. Like I said, you can get your proposed ratings before the PEBLO gets back to you by contacting the VA 10 days after your claim went to historical. It will be a packet that will say you have been unfit and the VA is proposing your ratings are "..." and you have been rated x or y for what ever conditions. It will tell you what was service connected and what was not if that is the case as well. I just got mine and I know more about my case than my PEBLO knows. It's really back dooring them but I don't care, and neither should you because this doesn't effect anyone but yourself. In the VA packet it even states this packet is for your personal essay for better financial planning upon your EAS because the DoD finds you unfit. It says "if you are qualified for benefits..." and goes on to describe how much you would potentially rate every month and what other benefits from the VA you may qualify for. Obviously nothing is completely set until you are 1 day past your EAS because then you are actually considered a Veteran to the VA. As a result no one rates VA benefits until they are a veteran, qualify, and have a DD214. Little stipulations here and there but it all works out in the end.

So basically you are unfit, you just have to make sure everything lines up on the DoD side to what you want. (IE: retirement, separation pay, continue with informal board, go to formal board etc).

They told me they were going to my peblo. Another thing is im pretty sure the peb still has to approve your dod ratings at that point.

@ThatAFGuy I signed and accepted them. I only had one unfitting condition that I claimed. so the 40% DoD was from that condition, plus the VA gave me ratings for other conditions. One condition I got 0% from that should be 20-40% but I was told I can try to claim it through the VA when I get out.

I was responding to another question. Some are told it'll come in the mail. You weren't one of those cases.
