VA Ratings in....No IPEB result or DA199

I've read a lot on here with people waiting for the VA to finalize ratings, this is not the case for me. My ratings came back quite quickly 24SEP (about 21 days after signing my NARSUM), but I'm still waiting on the counseling from my PEBLO. Has anyone ever been in this situation? Shouldn't the board finalize a few days after the ratings are in?

Like your DA199 with the IPEB findings?
 
Oh I’m dumb, my bad I didn’t understand your question, but the IPEB can in fact dispute your VA ratings or request additional justification as to why they rated you at whatever % and it will hold up that part, but that’s super uncommon and really only done if it’s super obvious they hyper-inflated your rating
 
Or as silly as it sounds maybe someone in that chain is on leave lol. My PEBLO took leave while I was waiting on my NARSUM and it took me a few weeks to get it
 
Another peblo should be able to give you your proposed disposition if it's ready. My peblo is also on leave and another person took over my case.
 
I was able to get my proposed ratings, he "couldn't confirm" whether or not I've been found unfit, but he did say my IPEB was just waiting for one more signature..... Hopefully this shutdown isn't holding up the peb office

So, your PEBLO is right, but in a complex way. The only time the IPEB can say you’re fit or unfit is when your ratings come back that’s when they make their official decision, but in order to get your claim to the VA they kinda say you’re unfit unofficially. They do a review of the full picture so to speak when your ratings come back. Also, some IPEB’s are affected and some aren’t so could be a little bit of a wait.
