Va timeline

I just called PEB today and told me they submitted my package to the VA and called the VA after and was told they received my package on 23 July 2017. My question is how long do it take for the VA to do the ratings and comes back to the PEB and also with my package being sent to the VA does that mean that I was found unfit by the PEB? I am in the Washington dc area and I am in the navy.

Mine was 86 days. I don't think yours will take that long but it can.

86 days now that's well beyond the goals of the IPEB. hopefully mine do not take as long but thank you wish mine would not take that long but being in the navy for 12 years should expect the worst and hope for the best. thanks
 
the only thing the bothers me is that when I ask my PEBLO she told me that my package is with the presiding officer but when I called the PEB over at Washington DC, a chief told me they already forwarded my package to the VA for ratings don't the PEBLO should be getting the same info as the guys over at the PEB?
 
I was found unfit for duty March 6th. Packet sent the same day. Got my proposed VA ratings back May 18th. Finally signed my 199 on July 18th. I'll update when my LOR/Orders are here.
 
I just checked E-Benefits and it went from open claims to pending decision approvals how long do guys think will it take for it to be received back to the PEB.
 
No telling yet. Mine went pending decision approval in may then back to gathering evidence.

That status doesn't mean anything really, it's once you have a historical claim listed is when it's being sent back to the PEB

eBenefits is probably the worst thing ever as far as timeline. I signed my DA199 on July 18th. eBenefits still has me in the Review and Gathering of Evidence stage.
 
this is really frustrating then because everything else you have somewhere you can check the status of anything in the military except the MEB/PEB Process. they make you hurry up and wait.

Yeah so I called PDA about 5mins ago. The guy was trying to refer me to my PEBLO right away. I just kept saying "yes sir" and being friendly. So he cracked and told me that my packet was received by the PDA on the 19th. I signed my DA199 on the 18th. So that's good news. He also informed me that they're backed up because of the new system so it's just a matter of time before they get to my case. AAAAAAAND I'm in the same waiting game..... lol

So here is my update from my PEBLO:

I looked into your MEB case status today and see that your ratings are on
hold right now pending clarification on multiple exams done by Ms. XXXXXXX
(she performed the Head-to-toe exam). Many exams were incomplete because
either she didn't perform an adequate exam or failed to note her findings or
answer specific questions required by the VA for ratings purposes.

Might be another 30 days before I see any additional update in your case
but will keep you posted :)

So looks like I am up the "creek"

Anyone have this happen before?
