Makes me wonder if this applies to getting your exams returned to the VA as well. This would have been good knowledge to know going into the process haha.I had VES, they suck. However, due to IDES, they're supposed to expedite. CALL them, usually is a three for one special, 1st operator will say, "we have to send you to a different department" (the BDD/IDES I assume), then you'll get there an operator will say "OK let me get you to your case manager", the case manager helps SPEED things up. I called and they wanted one appointment a month later, the case manager made it happen and gave me an appointment the following week. Don't get OFF the phone till you got em down.
My MH exam. I call every day and they just keep saying the same thing that its in QC process. Its been 6 weeks since my last VA exam.I started my exams with them on Feb 10 and confirmed everything was submitted Mar 20.
Which exam(s) are you waiting on? I called every day and asked for a VLO a couple times to see exactly where things are at, my GenMed took the longest and if your case has a lot of claims especially in your GenMed you will likely not get that one sent to the VA for some time. To my knowledge I had about 8-12 claims handled by my GenMed and it took from Feb 22 to Mar 20 to get forwarded.
Remember that the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Yeah I would certainly ask to speak to a VLO to see what's holding it up. For me they had to cross reference a lot of things and there were communicated "last actioned on this date" statements that encouraged me. If you ask and it hasn't been touched in weeks something is clearly awry, but if you call and ask and there was an update today or yesterday then clearly some kind of gears are turning. Also consider what MSG_Raven said doing and see if that can expedite you. They claim to expedite you in the notes but those are notes only those agents see... usually useless for them to "expedite". Not sure about the whole different department business though, that's certainly worth a go.My MH exam. I call every day and they just keep saying the same thing that its in QC process. They probably haven’t filled it out. I would advise reading what they put. Mine said nothing of what I said. Like VA sent back a question asking did I have adjustment disorder they said no I was never diagnosed with it. Luckily the VA already had my records and saw I was. So make sure you read them.Is anyone else having an issue with VES? 1 exam has been QC for almost 2 months. Is there anything else you can do besides call them every week to expedite this
