I concur with @gsfowler. You will get only one eye rating. The VA goes with the highest rating. If you explore the CFR you will see that your field of vision has a footnote by it. As stated above, that footnote reminds the rater to consider rating you for special compensation.
 
You do not need to remind a rater regarding SMC. It’s built into VBMS-R and will automatically apply any applicable SMC when calculating the percentages.
 
It says my case closed on 21 Oct but then it also says that it's pending decision approval. When will I be able to see my ratings?
 
Called the VA and they said they cant give out my rating over the phone and I havent heard anything from my PEBLO...
 
Sounds like something may drop soon. Who knows always a waiting game.
