Ok so I started my medboard around May of last year , must say slow process, 10 minutes to join a year to get out , anyways I called the VA 1800 number today and was told they have my percentages done etc and it was waiting for approval by VA authorizor, my question is what does this mean and how much longer should it be before I receive my percentages? I'm trying to get everything ready on the civilian side, (job/ place to rent ect) and having a general timeframe would help a lot, thanks in advance for any input

I've been in the process from February of last year. I am currently waiting for an EAS and I don't even have a real timeline for that. There are no timelines here because there is no common time factor or rhyme or reason to when things get done or why they get done whenever they do. I had a buddy enter the process 3 months after me and he is out of the marine corps. And I haven't had any real hiccups with having to redo c&p exams like some people. Waiting game. Really terrible system

If you look at some timelines on here it could help but don't base your wait times on anyone else. I'm supposed to have an EAS this month and I still can't plan for a job or school. Absolutely ridiculous

From what it sounds like, your VA phase might be done soon. But don't trust those VA reps either because they will give blanket answers to most questions because they don't know, they aren't supposed to tell you, or they don't know... everyone at every level is misinformed in this process

Like Cobra said, there is no set timeline to go off. It's VERY frustrating I know. I knew a guy who was in the IDES System and SEPARATED in a matter of 4 months. Every case is different.

You just have to be patient and try not to lose your mind.

When the time comes you'll be given the chance to set your EAS (with a window of 30-90 days out) I suggest pushing it all the way to the right to give you ample time for terminal, house hunting etc.
