Waiting for EAS to change...

Hello all, for those of us that are at this stage I am wondering how long you waited for your EAS to change on MOL after you signed your ratings? PEBLO said 2 weeks...timeframes have not been true to previous PEBLO statements so wondering what your experience has been. Thanks!

My peblo told me yesterday 6-8 weeks.

Here is how the process works.

Accept findings

Findings go back to PEB. Go through Legal, QA, President of Board Signature.

PEB indexes your case. Department of the Navy sends MMSR-4(HQ Marine Corps) notification to adjust your EAS.

Then it takes MMSR-4 however long to get that done. Your MOL will populate a new EAS and you can go on terminal.

I am assuming you are Marines?

I just got off the phone with HQMC MMSR-4, as soon as they receive the index from the PEB they will adjust your eas. So what you are waiting on now is the PEB to send the index to MMSR-4. I hope this helps.

Sounds like you have a good POC for them mind if i snag that off you :)

Hope all is well with you!

Brother where there is a will there is a way. Text me. I will inbox my number to you.

Yes I am a Marine at Camp Pendleton. When I signed my ratings last week my PEBLO said 2 weeks, the inconsistency in communication is frustrating. Hopefully it happens sooner rather than later.

The PEB President is TAD and not in DC brother. He has to sign off on your package before your EAS can get adjusted.

Thanks for the info, it seems as though things are still progressing at the PEB even in the PEB president's absence. According to other threads I have been watching, there are a few west coast Marines that have gotten their new EAS this week and they accepted findings relatively close the date I accepted mine.

I talked to HQMC and you can ask for a specific EAS date. But you have to send them an email requesting it and their policy is that your sgtmaj and co have to be cc'd in it.

Thanks man, I hope your case is moving along as well. This process is quite the beast.

Yea man things are great and moving rapidly. I couldn't ask for anything better. I will hopefully be leaving 29 palms next week.
