Not sure if this is the right place to put this (Im new to this whole forum thing)... By way of introduction. Im active duty Navy. I was renewing my NSW physical and was told that due to my now being on Injectable meds for Diabetes (type 2) that I would have to go to a med board. So hear I am trying to get educated on how this stuff all works, get/give support and see where the wind takes things. Type II Diabetic on metformin and Bydureon (weekly Inj.), with PTSD and TBIs dating back to 2006.
Ok, so here's my time line:
Late July 15- I was told that I was going up for a MEB.
Aug 15- C&P exams done. Started treatment/exams at the TBI clinic (Addendums for TBI and PTSD)
11 Dec 15- MEB for DM2 comes back with recommend for IPEB. Addendums for TBI and PTSD added, paperwork signed and everything is sent up.
PEBLO said the wait time was looking like 90 days avg. but from reading the posts it seems like its all a coin toss as to how fast the fit/un-fit and VA ratings will come back.
