Many of you know @RonG as a former member of the moderation team here and as a long time contributor to this forum. A few years ago, RonG asked to step back from being on staff. He has earned whatever role he wants to take and we are grateful for his help and assistance to folks on the forum.

Well, today, I spoke with Ron and he has chosen to serve further by coming back as an official member of the Moderation team. I am very pleased to announce that Ron G is back as an official moderator on this site.

Please join me in welcoming Ron back. He not only served the Army and our Nation well, but he continues to serve here by helping folks. This exemplifies the Army Core Value of Selfless Service.

I hope you join me in saluting Ron G for his service. HOOAH, SGM!!

YAY! Happy to have @RonG back in an official capacity!

My thanks to all concerned. I appreciate the opportunity…

Ron

@RonG Your contributions to this forum are excellent. I think of you as SME when it comes to finances. I'm glad you have returned as a Super Moderator. Blessings my friend.

Thank you @chaplaincharlie I know little about MEB/PEB. However, my entire military career of 20+ AD years was in the Army finance corps.

Regards,
Ron

Your financial experience is needed. People have a need to certain about future finances and you answer those type of questions expertly. No one person has all the needed expertise. I'm weak on NG, reserve, technician questions. Fortunately others pipe in on those. Our team is better with you!

I guess I joined at the right time, eh Ron? lol

So I'm new here and wondering if anyone can help with why is it soooo hard to get ssdi when a veteran is 100% IU total and permanently disabled with 3 inches of documentation to substantiate everything.

Because the SSDI boards are asshats, plain and simple - they'll always reject the first one and usually the second one as well. Hate to say it, one needs to lawyer up for that and yes, they'll take a chunk of your money, but in the long term, it could be very worth it for you.

I've been denied 2x hired a attorney and she doesn't feel as if I'll be approved after seeing the judge.

I have:
weak heart borderline heart failure
Ptsd
Neck and lumbar problems
And more.....

It's just ridiculous!!!
