Notified of going on Board: June 11
Attended DTAP/Legal Brief: June 13
Referred to MEDBOARD: June 17

Does anyone have any ballpark estimate from personal experience of when I'll be getting any new updates as far as getting assigned a PEBLO and such? I'm sure they're backed up but command has been asking questions that I cannot answer and neither can the IDES Office.

You shouldve been assigned a peblo already, im on CP too and it took maybe 2 weeks. You should definitely reach out to them. Have you dropped off all your documents either in person or dod safe?

I would definitely go there and ask what's good. I'd be pissed, the process is long enough already. Don't end up like one of those guys they forget about for a year

Yeah I'm going to try and go up there after the holiday leave block and see. All docs were turned into them on the day of the brief. When you were assigned the PEBLO did they reach out to you to let you know? And if so, has the PEBLO made contact yet?

i went to the legal brief Feb 22 then turned my documents in the Feb 27.
On Feb 29th i was assigned a peblo, they let me know to wait 4-6 weeks before reaching out but i emailed them at week 3 and set up an appointment.

So serious when i say this, you NEED to stay on top of them at IDES office at CP. My peblo was very neglectful and off putting about my case that it sat in her email for a month bc she “forgot” to send it to the PEB. I am now at the end stages, just got word my PEB is being sent to the VA so im thinking another month or 2 at most.

Very well. Appreciate sharing the timeline. Last I heard anything in regards to it was last week, they let me know I should have a peblo assigned by the end of the week and they’d email me info and it’d be 4-6 weeks before they reached out for an email. So I’ll give a call or go up there to try and get something out of them.

So I just got the email that I was assigned a PEBLO yesterday. How soon do you think would be good to email her and try and set up a meeting with her? My referring doctor is about to be on leave starting next week for 7 weeks and didn't want it to get stuck waiting around on him to get back.

Immediately, even if the peblo is backed up they will still schedule you. I would let them know about you’re referring doctor going on leave too. Who knows they may even be able to see you tomorrow.

Emailed the PEBLO back on the 10th and still have yet to receive a reply or any form of communication from her so maybe this week is the week...

Any word yet?
Actually got a call this morning and met with the peblo in person soon after that. Just waiting for the CO to complete the NMA, my provider to come back from baby leave for the narsum, and fill out my personal impact statement. Do you know if the personal impact statement has to be in the official format like what they send telling you what to write?

Yeah if you could send yours just so I can get an idea, that’d be great. I’ll send you a private message with my email

Update: Waiting on my command to finish signing their end of docs to submit to board. NMA was completed but now apparently there's confusion within on whether my Company Commander (Captain) can sign off on the approval for me choosing LDES since the wording on the eMEBR says "*CO must be a Special Courts Martial Convening Authority". Anyone have any insight on this so it doesn't get held up any longer?

Anyone know how long after signing your findings and being unfit and sending off to PEB to close the case, will I know when my new EAS date is?

longest ive seen is around a month, shortest has been 1 week. Theres a phone number somewhere in the thread where you can call and see if they have your case

@shane0923 any updates? I think we’re on similar timelines and I’m on CP as well. My package got sent to the PEB on 30 September and I was found unfit on 7 October, it’s with the VA now.
