I just got it and it's dates for 2012 /03/20. I never even got all of my severance yet either and the half that i got was taxed like crazy which I was aware of. What I don't get is the corrected w-2 is obviously for the severance and for the rest I am supposed to get but only block 16 is filled out. State ,wages,tips, etc. When federal and state taxes were taking out. So basically this means I should be getting the rest of my sev pay soon? I was told I have to wait 20 days after getting my severance before I could get the w-2 from dafs do I still need to do that ? And why was there not any other blocks filled out ? I don't want to have to pay taxes on something I already paid taxes on next year. I am hoping to actually get some back.
What is the corrected w-2 for ?
