What now with GOV Shutdown?

I'm sure others are experiencing the same things or have the same questions. If anyone can assist that would be swell.

My PEBLOs for my base are "furloughed" because of the shutdown and there are no others trained to do the job in their absence. I was directed for full MEB on Monday Sep 30. Am i just in the sit and wait line until the GOV shutdown is figured out and my PEBLO can come back to work?

Am i able to contact VA or anyone else while my PEBLO is gone to try and get the ball rolling instead of sitting and wondering for however long?

On my FL-4 it says i need all C&P, MEB, medical docs submitted by 01 Dec 5, Does that mean that is when i should have everything finished and submitted for final % rating and DOS to be solidified? If so, i feel like there should be something i could do to ensure i am still going to meet timelines and get everything settled on time.

Unrelated question to the GOV shutdown. For jobs, and moving across the state (buying a new house before separating) does anyone have any recommendations on when to start looking into these?

Is your peblo a civilian? If so, I would maybe talk to the ODC or patient rep, and see if they can assign you a different peblo at another base to atleast get your exams scheduled thru the MSC. My fl4 date was for Oct 6th, I completed all exams by Sep 29, but am told for the quality review of all the exams it will probably be delayed a couple weeks. That is not when you get your DOS tho.

Also, i am suggesting my timeline to be over in January or late december, and have been applying to and had many interviews.. However in that timeframe, people still are declining to wait 2 extra months to hire.

Ya he’s civilian. What’s the ODC? And I’m guessing the patient rep can be found on google? Or is that something I need to ask medical? Thanks for the insight!

Office of Disability Council. and also I meant patient advocate, that is through the MDG.

gotcha, ill see if i can find an email or phone number for the ODC, and reach out to MDG for the patient advocate info. Hopefully my PEBLO doesn't feel like I'm stepping out of my lane when he gets back while he was out of the office LOL.
