What's Next?

I am sitting in limbo and no one can tell me what is going on or what I am waiting for now. My MEB was started 6 JUN 2013 and I had finally received my ratings by mid January this year. I was found unfit due to a two level cervical fusion. While waiting for my ratings I was diagnosed with Graves Disease w/cold nodule and the biopsy of the nodule was suspicous for cancer. The PEB sent my file back and approved the surgery to remove my thyroid. The surgery was 31 March and I was discharged from the hospital on 4 April. I had an appointment with the MEB doctor who replied to the request from the PEB for findings from my surgery. The MEB doctor stated (6 days out of the hospital) that my condition was not an unfitting condition and as soon as they get my thyroid hormones regulated I should be fine. This letter was sent back to the PEB on 11 April. My question to my PEBLO and legal was, now what? What exactly am I waiting for? How long will this portion take? Crickets......no one seems to know what is going on with my file now.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice will be welcomed.

I just got my ratings a few days ago. I was diagnosed with Graves' disease in 2006 I have been in the Air Force since 2002 so it is a service related condition. It took them 4 years to finally get my thyroid regulated after removing my thyroid in 2006 I finally was on the right medication in 2010. They have to slowly bump up each dose that's what took so long. I got 30% for Graves' disease and it wasn't a unfitting condition.
