Where am I in the process

So on my BIR it says case accepted by PEB on 20170808, but I received a message on MOL on 20170814 saying it was accepted. Just wondering which date to go by which in all reality it doesn't matter being its only 6 days. Anyways, I called last week and said my case was still being adjudicated? Which I know it means they are still deciding if I'm found Fit or Unfit but, heck its been almost 40 business days.
I'd go with the later date. Just knowing how these things work.

Just got the call from my PEBLO, findings are in! Scheduled appointment for tomorrow.

How did it go yesterday? Were your findings what you expected?

You want to go off of what your BIR says, it takes up to 72 hours for MOL to reflect anything and that is when you probably got the message pushed. You might as well sit down and enjoy a cold one because mine took 82 days for an OCONUS case and I ended up contacting my Congressman. I was finally warranted the PEB on 29 September and we submitted on 12 July.

@USMC.JCA It did not go as planned. They found me "UNFIT" for one condition at 30%, when clearly (to me at least) three of them are unfitting. I should have not signed the NARSUM from my neurologist. Didn't think it would matter that much. Thought this would be cut and dry. The PEB probably figured I would take the 30% TDRL and run. WRONG

I guess my case is a little different from most though. I was originally found "FIT" and submitted an appeal to the formal board. They decided to find me "UNFIT" instead of me going up to D.C. Currently, I am waiting on a copy of all my AHLTA notes from the past three and a half years since I started going to neurology. I will be filing an appeal after I speak with a lawyer (for the first time in this process) this week to go in front of the board in D.C. Hopefully I can gather enough medical evidence to reverse their decision. I shouldn't have any issues but it will be a lot of reading through the notes to prove what my neurologist wrote in the NARSUM is far from the truth.
I was also kind of shocked at how the VA rated a lot of my conditions, lumping them under TBI. My C&P exams were a sham. I know that now. I had not found this forum until after they were complete. After studying the VASRD, I will be doing a VARR after the formal board as well because of a new diagnosis for fibromyalgia, they rated migraines at 30% when clearly they warrant 50% and grossly underestimated paralysis for the small fiber neuropathy.

The road to get to this point has been long but the fight continues. One thing I have learned from the last eleven plus years in the NAVY is to take care of yourself because nobody else will.

That's unfortunate that it didn't go they you would have liked. So are you are going to a formal board now? What kind of timeline do you think you're looking at?

Yes, I will be going to a formal board. I would assume two months or so before I go up to D.C. So, ten days to disagree and sign findings, couple of days to receive the appeal and around 60 days for the formal. On the backside the VARR should take 15-30 days. I think I'm looking at an additional 100+ days from Thursday.

That sounds like my worst nightmare. I hope it all ends up being worth it in the end. It sounds like it will all pay off.

Yeah this whole process has been a nightmare. Didn't know it could get any worse. Hopefully it works out. Any word on your stuff?

No word yet. I am planning on calling the peb tomorrow morning, since that will be my 8 week mark. I'm hoping I hear something by next Friday.

This week is my 9th week, and still have heard anything yet. Good luck! If I don't hear anything within the next week or so then I'm going to have to put in for a medical extension because my EAS is Dec 21 but we all know that is going to happen.

I just had to put in for an extension because my EAS is November 11th. I hope it gets pushed through in time. I asked my command to initiate it months ago and they just got me the paperwork to sign last week. I called the PEB this morning and they said that it was still with the presiding officer. I'm really hoping to hear something before 10 weeks hits.

did you ever hear anything?

What about you @USMCJCA?

Kaylahersh had posted in her Cherry Point Timeline that hers was sent to the VA last week I think.

When I called on Wednesday they said that my case was still with the presiding officer and that it would probably be another 2-3 weeks. Meanwhile my command is dragging their feet to get my EAS extended. MOL still shows Nov 9th. So here's to hoping everyone gets it together and I don't end up getting screwed over.

Do you have any updates jessylynn?

I called Wednesday too and they told me the same thing. I'm glad she got hers done at least. They told me something like there are 600 others cases at the presiding officer still, so also 2 weeks. I'm definitely ready to get an answer though. My ebenefits completion date changed from 05/04/2018-02/24/2019 to 04/26/2018- 02/17/2019 so I'm guessing that isn't promising.....

It's interesting that your estimated completion dates are so far. My estimated completion dates originally said 10/25/17 - 01/29/18 and about a month ago it changed to 10/29/17 - 02/03/18. I don't know that there is any rhyme or reason to the dates changing though.

Well it looks like my dates on ebenefits changed again yesterday. Now it says 10/31/17 to 02/09/18....

Where are you guys seeing these eBenefit dates? When I go to ebenefits, and click on manage then status tracking I don't see any dates or any other place on that website?
